Flying Scotsman:(hello everyone I'm guessing your all shocked to see me alive)
Gordon passes out after seeing that one of his brothers is alive when he wakes up later flying Scotsman explains everything Scott(which is his real name)reveals that the steam engine he drives was purchased by someone he's also sorry to say that all their other brothers died Gordon is saddened by this but he is happy to know that one of his brothers is alive and well
Flying Scotsman starts working on Sodor for awhile during this Henry is jealous over the fact that Scotsman has 2 tenders duck tells henry that he will give him six shiny tenders much to Henry's delight then when Henry shows up with the tenders it turns out that duck scammed Henry with six dirty tenders Henry is made fun of by everyone
Two diesels 7101 and 199 arrive 7101 is nice to everyone while 199 isn't he says that Diesel engines are more reliable then steam engines
the next day while at knapford percy heard a radio broadcast saying that British railways are trying to acquire Sodor so they can replace all the steam engines with diesels the fat controller is in a battle with British railways Percy is worried about this she even tells Thomas Edward henry Gordon James and Toby about this
Gordon:(after finding out that I have only one surviving brother I don't wanna be scrapped next)
Thomas:(I mean we are celebrities you really think that British railways is just gonna kill us?)
Edward:(they probably won't kill me I am the source of sodor's popularity you know)
Henry:(or just wait we will become a railway preservation society like bluebell)
James:(I hope so I don't want a massive wrench to be thrown in at my life I got lots of big plans)
Toby:(and you don't have kids yet)
James:(and I don't have kids yet)
Percy:(just wait everyone I'm sure that we will become a railway preservation society like most other railways)
Thomas:(god I hope we do)
The next day henry is rolling home tender first when he sees d199 at a signal box he has ironically failed and so does 7101 after his Diesel engines ejector leaks and he can't pull his passenger train Henry with some help from 7101 who still manages to mostly move Bravely takes 199 the oil tankers and the passengers to the next station the flying Scotsman to the delight of his passengers takes the next train Donald takes the goods 199 is sent away for insulting the steam engines and Henry helps 7101 to the house
Douglas takes to Edward and rusty their talking about all their stories just in case if British railways acquires Sodor Edward brings up the time where he saved Trevor from getting scrapped so does rusty when she brings up saving stepney Douglas is tasked with taking a mid night goods train to the other railway while he is on the other railway Douglas comes across another steam engine in the yard the person inside comes out and says that his name is oliver he's here with his sentient brake van toad Douglas asks what's he doing oliver responds that he's escaping from getting scrapped and killed
Douglas shivered then he remembered Edward and rusty's stories about saving Trevor and stepney he decides to help and save oliver and his friends
On their way out a guard stops them from escaping but Douglas punches or kicks the guy and they begin their escape during this an army of diesels including diesel himself chase after Douglas eventually Douglas and oliver and toad manage to make it to Sodor as the diesels eventually lose track of them diesel isn't happy about this they reach Sodor oliver is put in a place where he and his friends can hide
Douglas tells everyone about how he saved oliver the fat controller hears about this Douglas and duck tell everyone that they need a new steam engine and the fat controller agrees to restore oliver and have him work on the railway he also reveals that he has purchased several more steam engines and diesels that will be coming to the island
Oliver is repainted and so is toad
The many purchased steam engines arrive the fat controller reveals that he hasn't decided on who will be the driver of the steam engines so he's putting the engines in either the works or a shed until further notice
Then the fat controller makes a announcement he has won the case and the island of sodor will officially be a railway preservation society the engines on Sodor are delighted
In the end 7101 remains and now goes by his
legal name bear
The fat controller reopens the Arlesburgh branch and asks duck to run it for him duck is proud and one night talks about it so much that Donald mocks him by making quacking noises duck makes a revenge plan he puts a duckling in Donald's water tank the duckling pops out the next day and Donald realizes that it was duck's revenge plot the duck is tame
And rides with Donald for a fair while until she gets off at Haultraugh donald plots a revenge plot of his own he puts an eggs nest behind duck's bunker duck admits defeat and nowadays the duck now named dilly lives happily at haultraugh
The big engines are impressed by Oliver's adventures and say approving things to him making him over confident from flattery but oliver meets his match when a bunch of trucks push him into the turntable well after duck the Scottish twins and the fat controller speak to him sternly he is left felling very silly
After oliver is mended and returns to the yard he meets the troublesome trucks leader scruffy he and the trucks sing a rude song about oliver
Later toad makes a plan and he asks Douglas if he can share it with duck later on oliver couples up to scruffy the trucks hold back but oliver is so determined that he ends up causing scruffy to break apart though the fat controller says that it's because of scruffy' age scruffy is rebuilt later on and the trucks are afraid that oliver will do the same to them that they haven't pulled any tricks on him since
Duck meets a cynical bus driver who hates steam engines on railways oliver tells duck that the bus driver shouldn't be taken seriously and Nick names him bulgy
Duck is going home one day when he finds bulgy is wedged underneath a bridge after bulgy is rescued he is turned into a hen house after telling lies
Since knapford doesn't have a station pilot after duck left it needs a new pilot the fat controller decides to hire someone to be the knapford pilot he selects a new engine and gives it to someone named Eric tanzig
