The Journal

After the emotional significance of their discovery of what the little book actually was, Lucius and Aria couldn't quite focus on anything else but reading all of the journal entries that this past-life Lucius had written. They barely touched their dinner, and instead just mainly gave each other loving looks from across the table the entire time, as if trying to process and absorb what they had just discovered and how special it was.

One of Lucius' internal questions he had, was if this Lucius (if this version of him was actually named Lucius), was the first life that he had lived? If this was his original form? Since the journal entries indicated that this was when Aria and Lucius' prophecy first originated, the prophecy that they were the first instances of soul-mates and true love in the universe, Lucius' best guess was that this journal was from his first life of his many lifetimes.

Aria and Lucius ended up spending the rest of the night just cuddled up in bed together as Lucius read to them aloud more journal entries. It was almost as if he was reading them a comforting bedtime story, but the story was actually real; it was their story. The greatest love story of all time.

Tonight I went for a walk in the light of the moon so that I could search for her. Her and her people have set up a little camp near the edge of our village, near the Dark Forest. They said they had migrated North to find more of our kind, that some force had called to them to journey here.

I had hoped to catch sight of her again so that I may finally speak to her; finally get to hear her voice, which I am sure is to be the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. Sure enough she was there, by the edge of the lake, drinking some water and staring at her reflection in the moonlight. Again, I felt that new sensation within myself. Something I have never felt before. It is as if all of the pleasurable feelings of the universe are stirring within me.

I walked over to her, and the second she turned to me at the sound of my approach, her face lit up, rivaling the light of the moon itself, it was as if the Sun was shining in the middle of the night

I walked over to her, and the second she turned to me at the sound of my approach, her face lit up, rivaling the light of the moon itself, it was as if the Sun was shining in the middle of the night. Her beautiful body approached my own and without a second thought to our actions we embraced, our foreheads resting against the others. The way in which she held me, made me feel my new emotions even more strongly, I felt as if I may weep.

"Forgive me, I felt as if I must" she had said, regarding her immediate reaction to my presence. I was right in my assumption that her voice was the most beautiful sound imaginable.

I told her I felt the urge too and that was why I had sought her out. Felt things that I had never felt before...things that my family didn't recognize. I told her that I couldn't properly describe what I was feeling.

"Me too," she revealed, which made my insides feel even more strange and fantastical.

I feel as if tonight is the start of something new...not just for her and I, but for the universe...
