When you look up
in the tumultuous rain
do you see the sky falling?
Do you feel the sky's tears
thundering for help
as white-hot lightning strikes out?
Do you hear the ground praise
as it soaks up the drops
listening closely like a friend?
Do you smell the fresh agony
as the clouds weep and rain
pouring out their souls to you?
Do you see the sky falling?
Or when you look up
does it feel like you're flying?
Do you feel the wind calling?
because the sky is falling
Flying up as the sky sobs today
Hey Everyone!! Someone once told me that if you looked up in a rainstorm it either looked like the sky was falling or you were flying. I love rain. There's something truly remarkable about water falling from the sky even if you end up with soggy shoes and an inside-out umbrella.
