And so it was wednesday. Hongjoong decided that the shop would take a rest today, messaging the other two about it so he made sure they wouldn't show up to a closed shop. Telling them both to rest today and do whatever they wanted, and if they needed anything, to just text or call him.

currently it was four in the afternoon, the date was set for six, just two whole hours to go so Hongjoong figured that despite knowing this will be a one time thing and he absolutely didn't want anything to do with the guy, Hyunwoo, at all. Looking good for the date wouldn't hurt anyone.

Hongjoong remembered what Yunho had told him yesterday, all the advice going through his mind again, it scared him to a degree, but he believed people could change, and he just hoped that was the case with Hyunwoo.

After a few minutes of consideration, he finally got up and took a shower. He didn't want to smell bad after all. After the shower Hongjoong looked around his wardrobe for a bit before deciding on a finale outfit. A loose collared white button up shirt, together with nice black fitted pants that curved his body well and a few accessories like a necklace and a bracelet.

Content with his decision he decided to do his hair next, for a few months he had debated whether he should dye his hair or not, but he didn't need to worry about that for now, there's less than an hour before the so called date takes place and he needs to get ready. He didn't want to look bad after all.

After what felt like forever, Hongjoong was finally out his door, on his way towards the restaurant where the date would take place. He wasn't quite complaining though, who wouldn't say yes to free food despite it being labeled as a date? He just hoped he looked good and maybe he was able to catch some cute guys attention while being there.

Slowly, he walked into the restaurant as he was shown the table they were going to eat at, taking note that Hyunwoo had already arrived as he stood up and greeted him, smiling brightly. Hongjoong knew he had to at least act like he was enjoying it, although when he hugged him, a little scent of alcohol could be smelled but Hongjoong just thought it was the nearby glasses with beer in them. Both of them sat down and started looking at the menu.

Not long after they had finally ordered whatever they wanted from the menu, in Hongjoongs own opinion, the menu was rather bland and boring, but nonetheless he ordered something.

"So how's work going?" Hyunwoo asked, starting off the conversation.

"It's going great, lots of flowers are being sold. What about you, do you work?" Hongjoong asked

"Uh, I don't really work, but I am looking for a place to start working!" He answered, clearly embarrassed about his position

The conversation went on, as soon as their food arrived they started digging in. All of Hongjoongs worries had washed away as he was actually enjoying his time, which he questioned at first but let go of it as he kept talking about whatever with Hyunwoo. Hongjoong would ask every possible question to get to know the latter better, and it seemed like Hyunwoo was happily answering each one of them.

Hongjoong thought for a second that it might actually work between them, but he quickly got rid of those thoughts as he remembered he wasn't quite there for actual dating, but only because he wanted the guy to leave him alone after he finally rejects him. He just hoped it would work.

"So have you dated before?" Hyunwoo asked, clearly curious.

"No not really, never been interested to be honest. What about you?" Despite already knowing the answer, he asked anyways.

"It must be annoying not having that many friends right?" He asked

Did he just dodge my question?
