After a month of finalizing everything, Seonghwa was finally taking over the company, and although he didn't quite want to because he knew how much responsibility it was, he knew he could find loopholes so he could hang out with the gang more and hopefully also hang out with Hongjoong more.
"I'm here." Seonghwa called out as he entered the top floor, where his dad was.
"Ah... Seonghwa my son... Since this is my last day here, I must insure you keep the company as good as possible. Changing it to your comfortability is fine, just don't change too much ok? We don't want to loose it either right?" His dad spoke clear to the point.
"Of course dad..." Seonghwa said.
he knew there was one thing he wanted to change. "Break up" with her. No, they weren't dating, but she thought they were, and even confirmed her part to the press which Seonghwa hadn't done yet. Everyone was up in his ass about it all the time. He didn't give a shit about his dad's rule of having a loving wife or girlfriend for image purpose. He only wanted one person by his side, and he might have that sooner than he thought.
The past weeks he had gotten as close to Hongjoong as possible, there was just one more step missing, asking him out. Was all that filled Seonghwa's head, as well as cons and pros to such action. doubts and prayers as he thought about how he was going to do it. If he was going to do it. Speaking of the latter, Seonghwa had messaged to meet him here once his dad was gone, to show him the place he actually worked at.
His dad showed him around, showed him how different things worked and even introduced every possible worker there to him, them instantly bowing and greeting him. Oh how he hated it when people was this formal. Exactly why he liked Hongjoong. He had never treated him differently even after knowing about his position and he was always so welcoming. Seonghwa wouldn't be surprised if Hongjoong had a lot of friends in this town.
Seonghwa sometimes wished to be more like Hongjoong, sweet and kindhearted. Instead he was stuck as a half cold and stern person, he knew he could change, he just didn't know how or what to. Maybe he could talk to Hongjoong about this, he always had the best advice whenever people asked something.
When his dad bid his fina goodbye, the cost was clear as he texted Hongjoong that he was ready and to just arrive whenever he could, not long after getting a response saying he was on his way currently. Which only made Seonghwa smile. Maybe Hongjoong would like it here, argh I need to stop myself from thinking like this. Seonghwa shook his thoughts away as he called his assistant.
"Yes sir?" Hwangin asked
"A Kim Hongjoong should arrive anytime soon, can you make sure he gets up here and doesn't get lost?" Seonghwa asked, already getting comfortable in his new position as ceo.
"Of course sir, I'll get right to it." Hwangin went to the elevator and went on his way to do his job.
Seonghwa looked around more, he noticed his dads aesthetic was more old like. How various, not working, clocks were sitting on different shelves, lots of books and so on. Seonghwa had learned how to do this job ever since he was younger since he was the oldest, he was going to take over. Yes he had a younger brother, one he never really spoke to anymore. He just hoped he was happy.
My first goal is definitely to support Hongjoong in anything- His thoughts were interrupted as the sound of an elevator arriving filled the hall. Soon his door opened as his assistant stepped in, followed by Hongjoong as well.
"Kim Hongjoong has arrived sir." Hwangin spoke.
"Thank you, please leave us alone." Hwangin nodded and stepped out from the room as Hongjoong looked around.
