Josie woke up refreshed and awake she was surprised she actually received 8 hours of sleep. She thought she would be up replaying what just happened last night. She squinted her eyes at the sun beaming from her window. She couldn't believe Ricky followed her here she couldn't process it but the first thing she needed to do was call her best friend. She knew Erica was up to this. She face-timed Erica hoping she would answer, these were the moments she wished she had her mother. Erica quickly answered
"Heyyy bitchhh how's the trip? She asked. Josie gave her a sour look. "Ricky is here," she said. Erica's jaw dropped to the floor "You're fucking lying" she began to laugh out of confusion. "What the fuck? How? She questioned. "You sure you didn't have anything to do with this? I asked. "No not this time I learned my lesson," she said. "Ugh I can't even think about that man on me I'm so ughh" she said. "Josie, what is really wrong? She asked. "I'm scared okay, I am so scared of that man like I can't be an adult today. I was supposed to be carefree I've been running from him for a while because I felt safer but now I can't-

"Josie are you perfect? Erica asked. "No" she answered. "Listen I get your frustrations with him he can't keep popping in and out your life but let's call a spade a spade you told him to leave you alone which was fine because you were pissed, then yesterday you were sad at my bridal shower because you felt like he wasn't trying hard enough ..like damn bitch you want him to be petty ass Ricky four years ago and guilt trip you into getting back with him" she spat in frustration
"No" she sighed. "Lord knows I don't" Josie answered.
"I'm just conflicted and scared," she said
"This isn't anything new, this comes with any relationship Jo you can't run when shit gets hard you did that with Khalil too," she said.
"I know I just don't feel like talking and then he tries to woo me out my panties and before you know it I'm getting slutted out this was not a part of the itineary Erica" Josie explained

Erica laughed "Look I know the feeling but what if it works it out this time Jo, no one is in the way but the both of you.
