Josie

6am

Josie packed Morgan and Jace's lunch while making their breakfast, she figured she'd get up extra early to cook their meals so she could have time to rest. She packed turkey club sandwiches, fruit cup, chips and a Capri sun. "That's done" she said placing their lunch bags in the refrigerator. She then sat out blueberry muffins, bacon and eggs wrapping it in aluminum fool. "That's finished" she said. She stirred the pot of spaghetti turning off the burner. She strategically planned this for three days and its been working. Breakfast lunch and dinner all made before 11am. Her phone vibrated it was a message from Ricky. He's called her about three times and she hasn't answered. They haven't talked in 3 weeks so Josie wasn't worried he found out. She made it very clear to her loved ones not to tell him and they've been respecting her wishes

Ricky: Hey, you good? Just checking on you"

She ignored the message turning off the stove. She then sat Morgan's medication on the table where its seen. She turned of the kitchen light going back in her room. She blew her nose for the 15th time. She felt a cold coming soon and the Day Quil has been helping she's been getting the best sleep because of it. She took another teaspoon before resting her eyes. Her dad called her and she rolled her eyes ignoring the message. Her dad found out what happened and he's been upset about it. Josie didn't care for his reaction this isn't the first time she's been in harms way plus he keeps talking her in to telling Ricky. Yes, Ricky would be a quick fix for all of this but she doesn't want him to responsible for who she chose to entertain.

7:45 am

Josie woke back up opening the door she saw Morgan heating up the food for Jace. "Good morning" I said handing her phone back. She could only have her phone when she's at school after that she gives it back to me. I decided to ground her for two weeks but she could barely handle 3 days. "Good morning" she said with an attitude. "Hi mommy" Jace hugged me. I picked him up "Hi baby" I kissed his cheek. "Mommy you look sleepy your eyes are dark" he said. "Mommy is so tired, catching up on sleep" I said handing them their lunch bags. Morgan quickly ate her food along with Jace. "Erica will be here in 10 minutes" I said. Morgan sighed eating her food. "What's wrong? I asked.

"Nothing" she said. "I'm sorry for what I said the other day. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. You're not a burden on me. I promise" I said yawning. Josie was fighting her sleep. She closed her eyes "Morgan I just want you to take your condition seriously. If dad can do it so can you" I said. She nodded her head "That's not all-

"What else is it huh? I asked. "I just feel like you're been avoiding us" Morgan said. "Huh? No I'm not" I said. "You are, we barely talked for days, when I get home from school you're sleep" she said. "Morgan I'm just exhausted I work too much" I said. "Then take a break" Morgan said concerned. "Its not that simple hun" I said. She didn't say anything she continued to eat her food. She opened her pill box taking her medicine. I smiled feeling relieved. "Erica is outside" I said. "Come on Jace let's go" she said helping him put on his backpack. "Have a great day at school" I said

"I'll try" Morgan said. Josie felt bad but she just couldn't control how low she's been feeling. She watched them close the door. "God Josie get it together" she said to herself getting back in the bed. Her phone began to ring and her assistant called her.

"Hey April, what's going on? I asked

"Hey Josie, how are you? She asked. "I'm here" I said. "I'm so sorry about what happened and I don't mean to bug you with this but do you still plan on doing the fashion seminar this week? She asked. "Cancel it" Josie said. "Are you sure? We are booked for this; they're definitely going to want a refund" she said. "April I don't care about a seminar right now can you please contact the promoter and I'll refund it" I said.
