Chapter 3: Suit up

Erica rubbed her eyes and said, "We'll be undercover. Since we're not adults, we can pretend to join their school...We probably need as many people as we can on this mission. This will be the most dangerous one yet."

Timeskip:

Catherine handed us each suits like Erica's, all designed to fit each of us perfectly.

"I put plenty of weapons in there, even for you Ben, even though you aren't exactly...good with weapons." Catherine said.

That was an understatement. According to Professor Simon, I had the fighting skills of a butterfly.

Or maybe that was Warren

Although she did say I was improving, I still wasn't too sure because I missed almost every one of my targets on a test. And to make matters worse, I nearly shot another student too.

Now my mind sets on BLISTER. Seriously, did their name just make them 10 times scarier? Because BLISTER seems like a perfect name for an evil organization. And even worse, Erica seems afraid for once. That is most definitely not a good sign.

The BLISTER training grounds are actually in Hawaii and Mike practically shrieked when he heard about this.

"We're going to Hawaii!!!!" He started dancing but then stopped short when he saw Catherine's mouth open, and finished her sentence, looking a bit crestfallen, saying "Yeah, yeah, I know. We're supposed to be on a mission, not a vacation."

Honestly, I wasn't so surprised when I heard this. Normally, in movies, they are all in like a forest or something like that, but I've learned that it's never like in the spy movies.

"But first, I think we need to talk to Murray Hill and Dane Brammage about all this. They might know who they are." Catherine said.

Timeskip

We arrived at where Murray and Dane were being held, a maximum-security prison in the middle of nowhere. At first, the guards were skeptical, but then we flashed them out badges and they let us through.

I don't think I've been in a worse place than this.

And I even went into sewage. It was gloomy, gray, and it stank like sweat and human waste. None of us looked happy to be there. We finally arrived at Murray's cell.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Benjamin Ripley and his little friends." Murray sneered.

"Murray," I started. "Tell us about an evil organization named BLISTER."

Murray feigned confusion. "What?" He asked.

"Don't lie to me." I said, and pulled out a snake. It was a perfectly harmless snake, and honestly? I think they're pretty cool. I was the only one that seemed to be able to pick it up. Even Erica seemed disgusted.

Murray yelped and took a step back. His voice trembled as he said, "I really don't know!"

"Hmm." I said. "Because this snake is probably going to kill you if you don't answer truthfully." I carefully put the snake down at the bars of the cell and it slithered up to Murray.

"AGH YES, YES, I KNOW WHO BLISTER IS JUST GET THAT KILLER THING AWAY FROM ME!" Murray practically screamed.

"BLISTER is an evil organization set on taking over the world," Murray said breathlessly. "And they have the highest tech ever made! I wouldn't cross them if I were you. Nope. You wouldn't stand a chance against them."

I gulped. This wasn't going to be easy.

"I have a feeling you're not telling us everything." Erica said suspiciously, but there was a bit of fear in her voice.

"I am telling you everything I know about BLISTER!" Murray said. "They're a very secretive group."

"I think he's telling the truth honey." Catherine said.

"Of course, I am!" Murray said hotly.

Erica shot him a cold glare and said, "I know, but there is something else that isn't exactly related to BLISTER." she said. As she said it, Murray's eyes went wide.

I pounced. "Spill it, Murray." I said. "Or the snake will kill you with its poison."

Murray shrieked in fear but still didn't say anything. "Hm," Zoe said, taking advantage of Murray's crush on her, "I was going to give you a hug...but I guess not." Zoe started walking away. She only got 3 steps when Murray cracked.

Murray blushed and said. "I... may have initiated Project X."
