I'm back! Honestly, I'm still running out of ideas, so I'm kind of just winging it right now. I have a little idea on what is going to happen, might change it later. After this book and SSMCS, I might not be continuing to write more SS fan-fics. I have good ideas (in my opinion lol) but I don't know if I can carry them out. Hopefully I can though!
(PS Zoe isn't in the mission, and the reason most of the speech is in caps is because over water, you can't hear very well.)
It came completely out of nowhere. Sophia found a secret entrance to the school that was unguarded, but it was underwater. Unfortunately.
Mike and I had never been this close to a shark before, (Erica probably has) and BOY I WAS TERRIFIED. I knew it probably wouldn't eat me, but there's the 'probably' part. Probably is not 'it won't eat you at all' I tried to steady my breathing, but no avail.
"BEN!" I heard Erica's muffled words in the water. "IT WON'T HURT YOU JUST SLOWLY SWIM AWAY FROM IT!"
The hammerhead shark was now staring at me as if to say "Are you okay?" I slowly backed off, not taking my eyes off it.
Suddenly, the shark moved and scared 30 years off my life. I screeched barreled into Mike and the both of us found ourselves doing somersaults in the water.
Turns out the shark was just swimming away. It looked back a second, and I SWEAR it was amused. Erica looked at us and rolled her eyes. I could almost hear her saying, "You are an idiot."
After getting over the shock, Mike looked like he was about to burst with laughter. I glared at him. "NOT FUNNY." I grumbled.
"YOU IDIOTS ARE TAKING TOO LONG." Erica yelled. "THE ENTRANCE IS OVER HERE."
I quickly swam over to her and sure enough, there was a grate. It was kind of small, so I'm guessing we needed to swim through it like a Minecraft player.
I suddenly smelled something foul and looked down. A heap of garbage was sitting on the ocean floor. I gagged. Apparently Sophia neglected to tell us that it was a garbage chute.
"EW!" Mike shouted. "Also, that's really bad for the creatures that live in the ocean."
Erica looked down like she had just noticed the trash. She wrinkled her nose and said, "Its bad alright, but that's not our biggest problem right now. Plus, by defeating BLISTER, they'll be torn and probably lose the island anyways."
Erica swam into the grate. "We're wasting time. Lets go."
I went in and immediately regretted it. The tube was full of sludge and nasty things. I looked back and saw that Mike hadn't followed us.
"WHAT'S WRONG?" I yelled at him. Mike didn't answer. OH! Now I remember. Mike is claustrophobic.
"COME ON, ITS JUST FOR A TINY BIT!" I said. Mike a deep breath and swam in. I continued, and thank god the chute wasn't that long. Erica was at the end. The water had stopped at her feet and there was a hatch in front of her.
"Took you guys long enough." I had heard that way too many times. But we had finally made it in.
