A figure popped out of nowhere and said, "There you all are!"
"Sophia!" I whispered. "I'm so glad to see you!"
Sophia smiled. "Likewise." She put on a more serious face. "Now that you're here, you have to try and find out more on what BLISTER is planning."
"You mean you still don't know?" asked Erica sourly. I'd realized that Erica didn't like Sophia at all. Probably because Sophia's evenly matched against her, and she is the main agent on the mission.
Sophia shot her a look. "I'm just a lowly student to them. Sneaking around won't help at all. They have cameras everywhere and I'm forbidden to use electronics without restrictions. Although you could hack into them, but I doubt it's going to be that easy. The reason why I haven't tried to investigate is because they keep tabs on me, and everyone, always. I took a big risk reaching out to you guys and coming here. But I think we're clear."
"You think?" Erica asked.
"You never know Erica." Sophia said fixing her with a hard stare.
Erica rolled her eyes. "Let's get on with it then."
Raven POV:
Sophia's been acting a bit off lately. I don't know why, but I'm determined to find out. That's how I found out she's a spy.
Today, I saw her exiting her room, but I didn't call out. She seemed to be sneaking out, and I wanted to know what was going on. She seemed to be going to the...trash chute? Looking around, she opened the chute and squeezed herself in. I knew she might think that someone was following her. I'm sure she knew the risks. But I bet she didn't count on me following her.
I knew a separate way down to the ocean. I sometimes went to a spot near the shore to blow off some steam, and it was somewhat near where the chute ended. BLISTER was used to me going out there.
I walked along the beach and found the spot. I edged a bit closer and smelled something foul. I looked down to the ocean floor. Ew! BLISTER just dumps all the trash in the ocean? Maybe I'll have a talk with them about it sometime. But then I'll have to explain what I was doing there...
I heard some mumbling that could be dismissed as just a sea creature, but I knew it had to be Sophia.
I could only catch snippets of the conversation.
"You...sneak...find out..."
Really, that's all that I needed to know. She was a spy. I didn't know for who, but she was a spy all right.
I'll keep her secrets. For my own reasons. Not to use her though. She's still my friend even though she lied to me. Because I lied to her too...
I'm [REDACTED]
