I made a couple edits to this chapter- I messed up a couple numbers lol

Sure enough, a knock came at my door at 8 AM. Not a minute earlier or late. I was already up, finishing my breakfast. I shoved my plate and utensils into the sink, reminding myself to wash it later.

I had decided on a black leather coat and a pair of jeans and tucked a small handgun inside a pocket. I decided against wearing a crop top, as showing skin would increase your chances of getting a deeper wound. I opened the door and the same escort that showed me my room was there again.

After a couple minutes of walking (in silence) we reached a dimly lit room. The first thing that I thought was: 'This room is HUGE' It literally seemed like a ballroom. The same man, Mr. S, was waiting for me.

"Sophia," he said. "This is your entry test. Either you survive, or you die and well, we'll know that you weren't the right person." He'll probably send a bunch of agents after me. So it's kind of a I kill them or knock them out, or they'll kill me.

"Kill her." Mr. S said and stepped out of the way.

About 9 agents streamed into the room and charged at me. This wouldn't be too hard. I thought. After all, it was only 9.

The first guy, a bulky man, threw a punch at me. I deftly sidestepped him and wrenched his arm back. He whimpered in pain, and I threw him against the wall. His head banged painfully and fell unconscious. By now, 4 others had surrounded me, taking no notice of their fallen partner. Not that I expected them to. I kicked one in the head, making him fall, and grabbed his wrist. Then I swung him into the other 3. They all went down like a stack of dominos.

5 left. I socked one in the face and kicked one in the groin and winced a bit. That one must have really hurt. Then one came at me with a knife. Well that's unfair, was my first thought. But life wasn't fair. Evil didn't play fair either. I dodged the knife that was about to slice apart my arm and punched him in the stomach. I wrenched the knife out of his hand and stabbed him in the leg. He gave a howl of pain and felt guilty for doing that to him. But, I could have killed him and I didn't.

But the guilt was quickly replaced by pain as one of the remaining agents nearly stabbed me in the shoulder. It nicked me, not as bad as it would have been if I hadn't dodged it. I gritted my teeth and used a leg sweep to get him off his legs. I didn't expect it to work, and it didn't. But he did stumble. I took advantage of that and punched him (with my good arm) in the head. He went down instantly. But there was still one more. And he had a gun. He immediately opened fire as I dove behind a pillar.

Unfortunately, I landed hard on my injured shoulder and that hurt. Really bad. I winced at the pain as I heard bullets smack against the pillar I was hiding behind. I got up and pulled out my gun. I didn't want to use it, but right now, I had no choice. I peeked out and fired at where I thought he was shooting from. I heard a small bang and a shout of rage and I knew I hit the gun instead of the person. Which would work fine. At least I had weakened his defenses.

I fired until my clip was empty, and the last one hit its target. The man screamed in pain and crumpled to the floor. I stepped out from behind the pillar, catching my breath. 9 agents lay unconscious, on the floor beside me. Hopefully I didn't kill any of them.

I heard a clapping noise as I saw Mr. S emerge from a doorway. "Well done, Sophia." He said. "You should go get the wound tended to." I nodded and followed him out the door.
