Mr. S led me to a room which only had one candle lit. Behind the candle was a creepy looking old guy.

"You're late." He rasped.

"She had to take a shower." Mr. S said with an eyeroll. Then he whispered, "You know how girls are."

I narrowed my eyes at Mr. S. "I can hear you perfectly y'know. I'm not deaf." Mr. S turned red in embarrassment and quickly left the room.

The old man showed no emotion on what had happened and gestured to a seat in front of him. I sat down and asked, "So, what's this lesson about?"

"Seeing without seeing. Or in other words, Echolocation." And then he blew the candle out.

Interesting topic. I thought. They never taught me this stuff in Croatoan. Then I felt a blow to my stomach and I fell over in pain. The candle was lit again, and the old man was standing in front of me. "Knowing where your opponents are without sight. We will continue this tomorrow." He showed me to the door, where Mr. S was waiting for me, again.

"Well, that was quick." He led me to another room, which looked like a doctor's office. An average looking woman sat behind a desk, smiling as we entered.

"You must be Sophia. You can go now Mr. S." Mr. S went a bit red, leading me to think that he had a crush on this woman.

"My name is Dr. Johnson. I'll ask you a couple of questions and then we can get started." I nodded. "First of all, do you do gymnastics?"

"Yes..." There were a couple weird questions, but I answered them easily.

"Now those were some weird questions, but my main one was the first one. Gymnastics is a crucial part of what I'm about to teach you. You'll need to do a lot of bounding around. Now, are you ready?" Dr. Johnson said.

I nodded yes, prepared to dodge whatever she threw at me. But it wasn't what I was expecting at all.

"Try to fight me." She said. I shot a couple punches and kicks, but she dodged them easily. And then when I was least expecting it, she jabbed me in a couple spots and I fell down, feeling paralyzed.

"It'll wear off in a bit." Dr. Johnson said.

"What...was that?" I managed to say.

"It's important to know the human body well. You can find weak spots. I can teach you those tomorrow. That should be enough training for today. Get some rest. I can tell you're beat from that entry test." She smiled and I grinned back. I liked this woman.

So in the Dr. Johnson part I sorta maybe took it from Avatar: The last airbender you may have noticed. Her 'jabbing in parts so you feel paralyzed part' is inspired by Ty-Lee. I just finished watching the entire series so :)
