James is behind me, trying to put the board on my head and I keep dodging it by running under the rain without knowing which way to go. I keep running happily. It is my favorite time. Back in my country, we used to ride in a car no matter where we go, so I don't really get a chance to dance in the rain. My mom told me to bring an umbrella whenever I go in Taiwan, I told her that I don't need an umbrella for the rainfall won't make me sick, but then the following line makes me hate the rainfall since then, "You'll go bald if you're not using it! Just one drop and everything will disappear!" That what she said. It may over dramatic but that's the truth, it's all because the factories are quite common in Taiwan, which makes the air is a bit contaminate. Just like what James said, we won't go bald in one night. So, let me enjoy the summer's waterfall today.

"Hey!" James screaming from my back. "Where are you going?!" he grabs my left hand, like a mother who drags her daughter who is too excited in the amusement park and nearly get lost. "This way!" he pushes me into the second alley. In the alley, I see a lot of motorcycles are parked along the cement wall. The rents here must be bigger and more expensive than the rents in my alley. They prepare the motorcycle parking lot. But I see no tree so far. The ditches are also smaller than mine. When the storm is coming, won't it cause a flood easily? Like now. "Hey! What are you doing?!" again he pulls me because I unconsciously change into walking mode while observing the ditch. From afar, James must be looks like a mother who is taking care of her curious daughter.

"Run! Right...right...right," commands James like an army commander. "Now...Stop!" he says in front of the four stories house. He opens the gate and unlocks the first room. Every floor has two rooms and his room is on the right side. As soon as I step my feet in, a piece of art is showed and at the end of the small corridor, where he organized the shoes, a very spacious room is revealed. His room is worth being called a studio apartment than a simple studio. Though it has no small living room where a white sofa is placed, the kitchen is waiting for you behind the long dining table that is attached to the wall. He is the type who is watching while stuffing his stomach, I guess that's the reason why this place is perfect for him, the mounted TV is face to face with the dining table. Next to the kitchen, James's king-size bed is sturdy standing on the wood floor. At the end of the room, James is coming out from the toilet. "Here's the towel! Now.. take a bath!" he pushes me into the bathroom.

"I'll make it three minutes," I say and close the door quickly. "What you want to eat?" he screams. "Everything," I know James can cook, but I don't know if he can confidently make everything I want. "you are confident to make." I add. His bathroom is so big compare to mine. The sink is next to the lavatory and a glass shower cabin at the end of the space. "How much he needs to pay for all of these splendors?" Three minutes later, I come out with the scent of James. Through the half wall between the dining room and his bed, I can see the soaked James is cooking, and I smell nothing but the boiling water. "What are you making?" my voice startled James. "Have you changed your cloth?" I say as I walk.

"Are you done?! I am going to, but you're done__are you sure you washed it clean?"

"I'm done! Your turn! Go!" I take the spoon from his hand and find out the menu for dinner--instant noodles. It's so his style, so does mine. While I waiting for the noodle to boil, I observe his room once again. What a good place to stay. Can I ever stay at a good place like this? When I place the instant noodle on the table, he opens the bathroom door.

"Hey! Even my shampoo smells like the instant noodle!" he runs out, like a child who comes out for an exciting snack time. "So hungry!"

"Where is the bowl?" I ask.

"I'll take it." He say.

On a rainy day, noodle soup is the best. With this atmosphere, we can sit relaxed and share everything we want.
