Emira's P. O. V

The shadowy figure looks at our direction, it's weapon crept through the cold pavement and back6to it's handle. It's long, seemingly retractable blade with strings attached to it formed a curved, intimidating weapon.

The glowing white eyes turned focused on our direction, without a moments pass, it glided towards my brother and I at an almost incredible speed. They're weapons extended and cut me and my brother apart. We had no choice but to split up and regroup.

I called out to my brother, "Ed! Meet me in the market, we'll get em' from there." I yelled out to my brother who agreed to my plan, probably shouldn't have said that out loud.

Korril's "inner self" was more focused on me, and was invested on my certain demise. As I was running through the grey buildings and run downed slums, I remembered what Eda The Owl Lady told me about dying in this realm, hell no, I wasn't going to perish inside someones pitiful mind. I wasn't giving up, I dodged Korril's attacks, every swing of that blade, every flaming orb, every corner cut, only to no avail as it made Korril's memory guardian more determined than ever to catch me.

I managed to outran them for a little while at times, only for it to catch up to me, passing by open doors to Korril's past memory, I noticed it destroyed some doors during the chase, though, I wasn't sure why they only destroyed some doors and leaving some behind. I thought of an idea to lose them from my tail, I made a sharp turn and entered though one of Korril's memory, I was just hoping it wasn't a weird one, like Korril's 1st kiss. Luckily for me, it stopped following me, so I must've lost them.

I sighed a quick relief and suddenly realized of Edric, "Oh, no! Ed! I can't leave him behind, I-I need t-to.... Woah!" I swallowed my words as I emdulged the scene that surrounded me, the lights so pure, and the plains so clean, trees rustling, it almost seemed like it was a dream. The strum of a stringed instrument caught my attention, as the sweet melody made the already breathtaking scene more nostalgic.

"This place... It feels so 'Familiar"." I was caught in a trance from the mind blowing atmosphere. I was mesmerized for sure that I didn't almost didn't notice a figure with green hair and perfect figure walked past me, almost as if this was also part of my memory. She laughed with her brother as she ran through the fields.

"Wait, this is... That's me!" shocked as I was, I followed younger me though the fields, as the music grows loud, my past self went in to a halt, little Edric kept running as little me stopped him on his tracks, nearly making him fall flat.

"Hey, do you think that music is coming from them?" Younger me pointed at a figure in red clothing in a distance, as the sweet melody  progresses to be more intense yet calm. "Maybe, let's go ask them out." little Edric and I ran to the kid playing the guitar, I followed in pursuit.

As I followed my past self, I also looked around the place and took an interest on it, I certainly remember this place on the Isles, yes, my brother and I would come her sometimes and do our usual antiques. I kept following my self until I began to make out who was playing the instrument, of course, it would be a younger Korril.

He quit playing his sweet tune as he heard footsteps closing in on his general direction, he went into a complete stop paired with a stiffed posture.

"Hey, you? Yes, Hi!" younger me called out to a much younger Korril, "Oh, uhh- h-hi, Em... O\\\\\O" Korril awkwardly responded, "Oh, it's you, Hey Korril." little me greeted cheerfully, "Hey, how ya doing?" Ed followed up, "You're the one playing that music?" of course, little me eagerly asked, "Y-ye-yeah, wh-why? 😶😳" Korril stuttered, I noticed a big, red blush on his face, kinda like Mittens when she's with Luz.

"Can you play it again?" I requested, "Yeah, I want to see some Bard magic." Edric added. Of course, knowing Korril, he already liked me long ago, it was obvious he was desperately trying to hide it. Huh, I wonder why I didn't noticed, well, I was young, that's my excuse.

"Uhhhhh..... Uhhhh, yeah, s-sure." Korril tuned his guitar, took a deep breathe and began strumming those melancholic tunes.

The environment glowed around us as he kept on strumming. There was no denying it, he was a prodigy of the Bard track. It's such a shame he fell from grace. As the song kept playing, the more me and my brother were enticed, even after hearing the song, I almost forgot about our situation and realized how Korril actually felt. Maybe I was too rough on him, maybe he needed to learn, regardless, I needed to find out how to outsmart Korril's inner thoughts.

I pulled back from the nostalgia and focused on the problem ahead, but not without finding out what happened next after the song ended with 3 mournful strums.

"Woah, that was sooooo cool, you're from the Bard track? Korril, was it?" My past self asked curiously, while Ed was crying rivers of tears, "Y-yes, I just got in from the Bard Track of H-Hexside" Korril nervously admitted.

I asked myself (How did this sweet innocent child transition into an alcoholic with problems?)

But, of course, the happy times don't last long, a sudden surge of heat entered the room as the ground I stepped on shook. Looking at my past self with my brother and Korril, they don't seem to be affected, nor do they notice the same cataclysmic event i6was facing.

A gnarly snarl echoed in the background as a familiar figure presence entered the memory.

Their armor looking intimidating, as they gripped their sword tightly, with such intensity they look like they were ready for a fight. I had no choice but to use hold my ground as well, but not without thinking what had happened to Edric.

"EMIRA!" the gate keeper screamed, a slightly altered voice of Korril's travelled the room. I mustered up my confidence and called out for a reasoning hoping my calls would work, "Korril, this isn't you, you need to move on."

Korril's inner self wouldn't budge, a silhouette covered the rest of his armor and the flamed grew stronger. I thought my life would be done for, but lucky for me, a seemingly annoying but familiar voice called out.

Hey, what's up? It has been a while, although I may not be recently active, it was because due to the fact I had some other stuff to do.

Anyways, after this book ends, approximately about over a dozen chapters, I'll be making a spin off of it. A little mixture of Witch and Human magic, more heartbreak, drama, Abuse (Domestic and Drug), etc... . Until then, I will see you all in the next chapter, Buh-Bye~
