A silvery mist began from Brenda Schoenberg, who continued to chant unrecognizable words. Her triplet sister, Glenda, to her left, muttered a different spell causing the mist to expand and saturate.

Soon, the mist covered quite a sizable portion of the Musicon Pack Grounds. Brenda and Glenda walked straight to the residences, continuing to mutter their spells. The mist followed them and kept expanding, infiltrating the residences. Catrina was constantly two steps away from her triplet sisters. The unremitting murmuring of the witches was unbroken, except for a quick gulp of air every now and then. They made rounds of the pack grounds, the mist settling on midnight patrollers and frightfully paralyzing them. Anyone caught within the silvery tentacles of the would instantly be rendered immobile. They could only move their eyes.

By now, anyone could see that Brenda and Glenda were weakening. Their voices had dropped to a whisper and they now walked with a stoop. However, it seemed that they had covered the entire Musicon grounds. They frantically gestured to Catrina, who beckoned Randall and his warriors to follow her.

In this whole time, Jordan was tossing and turning. His inability to sleep that night spread to Alexine. They both knew it would be a fateful night, and although their door was locked, they couldn't shake off the feeling that they weren't safe at all. Both of them were restless, and so alarmed when the silvery mist appeared. Alexine nearly cursed. Grabbing Jordan's arm, they jumped out of bed and rushed to the door. The mist burst forward and encapsulated both in one go. Their eyes were filled with panic as they realized they were powerless.

Sometimes, life will have more control over you, no matter how powerful you are.

The door opened effortlessly, despite the lock. Catrina and Randall walked in with huge, sneering smiles on their faces. Working quickly, Catrina tied a silver laced rope around Alexine's arms and legs. Randall began to laugh, and they hauled Alexine out of the room.

Realization hit Jordan.

These were the very same witch-wolf hybrids that petrified Lyndon as Brian raped Sara. They were the nieces of Cambreia and Meredith Schoenberg, the ones who attacked him and Alexine, respectively.

But he couldn't move. He couldn't break free of the tentacles holding him in place. He could not even scream. One of the numerous, invisible tentacles was clamped over his mouth. He strained every muscle in his body, but all he was met with was a sharp, stinging pain. Jordan could only watch as his mate was taken away from him. He felt like he had completely failed both his mate and his pack, and he and Oscar anguished over the torture Alexine would face at the hands of the monstrous Randall Liebermann.

Alexine was brought to the Lunsolae Pack Prison, where there were no prisoners, as all of Lunsolae was in fear of angering Randall Liebermann and obeyed his every command. Thus, this is how Randall commandeered his 74 Lunsolae warriors and 58 rogue recruits using fear. Randall dumped her into the largest cell, chaining Alexine along with her Beta female Jesse, Aurantiaco Beta Stephanie Zhao, and Argenti's Beta's children in silver chains. Every victim was injected with 0.97% concentrated wolfsbane, the most concentrated wolfsbane available, but also the rarest. Alexine took note of this. Randall believed that using silver and wolfsbane was the most effective and quickest way to bring Alexine down to her knees.

Randall wanted to dominate all packs, and he would need to ensure that he had a powerful mate by his side in order to produce a powerful heir. Once he got his heir, he would have triplet witch friends, Brenda, Glenda, and Catrina perform an extremely archaic ritual only possible by powerful witches exercising dark magic. This ritual would transfer the victim's power: in this case Alexine's Musical powers, silver immunity, and her dragon too. However, Randall's plan was not foolproof. He was right beside Musicon, Alexine's pack, and he was unaware of her immunity to silver and that she was a hybrid: a wolf-dragon. He also did not know that dragons are not affected by wolfsbane.
