Rolling In The Deep by Adele

Y/N's POV
It's been a while since I've gone on a five mile run, so that's exactly what I did as soon as I woke up. Florence was still sleeping when I left, so I made sure to leave her a note saying how excited I am about the concert tonight. It must be excitement coursing through my body at the thought of spending another night with her because I ran faster than my average time. I decided to run further, but stopped when my phone buzzed.

i'll wear my best outfit 🤵♀️I laughed to myself as soon as I shoved my phone inside of my pocket. I continued to run further, the smile on my face never left. I thought of her while I was running, and it gave me the energy I didn't think I needed during the run. I decided to stop eight miles later but only because something caught my eye. I diverted my attention toward the Floral Shop, an idea coming to mind.
I entered the space, scanning my surroundings, taking in the various flower choices I have around me. There are tulips, orchids, roses, sunflowers, daffodils, and many more anyone can think of. I was pulled in by the way they were displayed, and also a little overwhelmed. I have no idea what to get her, but I know it has to be something that reminds me of her.
I probably spent fifteen minutes looking around, and being conflicted with what I want to get, but alas, I finally made a choice. I went with a bouquet of peonies. I personally love the way they look and when I noticed them, I immediately felt like it was the flower that best describes Florence. Full of life and very pleasing to look at.
I stood behind the Florist, and watched her gently insert it inside a transparent bag. When she disappeared to grab something from the back, I looked around as if I already didn't see everything. I have a good feeling about tonight. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Maybe it's the fact that I'm performing a song, and I'm trying to impress her, but needless to say, I want things to be as good as they can be."Y/N?"
I turned around to the familiar voice, a little surprised to see her here. It's been almost four years since I last saw her, and I thought she moved away but maybe she hasn't. I fixed my posture before acknowledging her presence.
