Nadia had finally caught up with Wanda and Pietro after having been separated from them during all the mind control tricks and her encounter with Steve Rogers. "What can I do?" She heard Pietro ask a distressed Wanda, who was in pain from an arrow that Clint Barton had hit her in the forehead with after trying to trick his mind.
"What happened?" Nadia asked worriedly for her sister's well-being, her conversation with Steve long gone from her mind.
Wanda groaned as she removed her hand from her forehead. "Ah, it hurts," she hissed from the pain.
"I'm gonna kill him," Pietro uttered angerily and had intentions of tracking Clint down for hurting his twin. "I'll be right back," Nadia intervened and placed her palms on her brother's shoulders to make him halt.
"No," Wanda stopped him. "I'm alright," she gasped as the Maximoff woman tried to get her breathing under control.
Nadia knew from the determined look on Wanda's face that she wanted to keep going with Ultron's plan. "You still want to follow through with this plan, don't you?" Nadia realized in a tone that resembled defeat, having hoped that the two would change their minds as Nadia wasn't sure if she should trust Ultron. Or if this was how she wanted to continue living her life.
"I want to finish the plan," Wanda's eyes trailed over to where Bruce Banner was already looking at them with confusion. "I want the big one."
SEOUL
Nadia and the twins had followed Ultron to Seoul, Korea to find Doctor Helen Cho at the U-Gin Genetics Research lab as he intended to have himself evolve. He had wanted her to use her synthetic tissue technology as well as the vibranium he took from Klaue and the stone inside Loki's scepter to create a whole new body.
"Cellular cohesion will take a few hours, but we can initiate the consciousness stream," Dr Cho spoke to Ultron as the Maximoff siblings stood off to the side while listening in. "We're uploading your cerebral matrix now."
Nadia had thought it was strange that Dr Cho had willingly agreed to help Ultron with his need to create a new body and looked over at the scientist. Nadia subtly tilted her head and she looked inside Helen's mind to see that her mind was being controlled by the scepter that Ultron had used on her. Nadia pulled herself out of Dr Cho's mind and waited quietly until she had the right moment to set the doctor free.
"I can read him," she heard her sister say. Wanda stepped closer to the body in the cradle. Nadia watched her sister from her spot next to Pietro to see Wanda hover her delicate hands on top of the container housing the new body. "He's dreaming."
"I wouldn't call it dreams," Dr Cho commented. "It's Ultron's base consciousness. Information noise. Soon....," Dr Cho started to say but Ultron interrupted her train of thought.
"How soon? I'm not being pushy," he spoke but his tone suggested that he was impatient with how slow the process was.
"We're imprinting a physical brain," was the last thing Nadia and Wanda heard before they both saw what Ultron had truly planned. Wanda yelled out a cry of pain as Nadia clutched her temple with her hand from the throbbing needle pricks she felt in her mind. Pietro immediately went to Wanda's side as he knew that Nadia could handle and control the pain better than Wanda.
