Complications

Harrys POV

'Your what just what!? How are you so calm?!', I said frantically.

'Relax Harry. I'll go call the midwife, you call Leah. Don't make it a big situation', she said and turned and walked in the house.

Oh my god. My heart is beating really fast. I'm excited but so nervous because I hate seeing Jennifer in pain.

I called Leah to come get the girls and take them to spend the night with her and Angelo.

'Hey girls!', I called and they ran inside.

'Leah is coming to get you. You get to spend the night', I said and they both got super excited.

 Leah pulled in the driveway 10 minutes later. 

'That was insanely fast', I said and grabbed the girls bags.

'Good. Let's go ladies!', Leah said and Mia and Mya ran up to hug her.

'Say bye to mom', I said and they kissed and hugged Jen, then went out with Leah.

'Okay mama.. how are you feeling?', I asked and kissed her head.

'It's pretty uncomfortable already. This is gonna be tough. I can feel it', she said and sighed.

'Just stay calm. We don't need your heart acting up on you', I said and rubbed her shoulder.

She laid her head on my shoulder and sighed.

'Do you want to go upstairs?', I asked softly as I held her hand.

'Yeah', she said and stood up slowly while I held her hand. We went up the stairs and I got her settled on the couch in our room.

One hour later...

I came out of the bathroom and Jennifer was sitting on the couch with her head in her hands.

'Jenny, are you alright honey?', I asked and put my hand on her back.

'Harry it hurts and it doesn't feel right', she said and wiped the tears streaming down her face.

'What do you mean?', I asked, trying to appear calm.

'I'm dizzy. Labor isn't supposed to make you dizzy. I'm weak and it hurts so bad', she cried.

I put my arm around her and she was just sobbing into my chest. My heart is just breaking knowing that I can't help her feel better.

I rubbed her back and kissed her forehead.

'God.. somebody help me', she cried.

'I'm so sorry baby', I whispered.

I could feel from holding her hand that her grip was weak and she was shaking.

'Jennifer relax, honey please', I said.

'I can't catch my breath', she said, sounding exhausted.

I felt my heart skip a beat and my stomach drop. 'W-What?', I asked.

'Harry..', she said and grabbed my hand and put it over her chest. 

Her heart was beating way to fast and her breathing was erratic.

'Baby... we need to go to the hospital', I said.

'No.. Harry no. I hate hospitals. I'll be fine', she said weakly.

'Jennifer Connick! I don't want to lose you! Or our baby for that matter. You know you have a possibly fatal heart problem and you know what could happen. Listen to me Jennifer please', I pleaded.

She just put her head in her hands and closed her eyes.

'Jenny..', I said softer and rubbed her back.

'Just.. please help me', she cried.
