Harrys POV

One week later....

'Good god', I mumbled to our new dog as I put the lawnmower away.

I went to the animal shelter to adopt a puppy but came out with an extremely adorable and sweet 2 year old Golden Retriever named Bella. She was given up because her family moved. I bought her for Mia and Mya and they adore her. She's trained and behaves like an angel dog.

'Let's go', I said and opened the door to the house.

'All done ladies', I yelled as I drank ice water.

No one answered so I followed Bella up the stairs.

I went up and found Jen, Mia and Mya all sleeping peacefully in our bed.

I smiled and went to the bathroom to change and take a quick shower.

When I came back out Mia and Mya were awake and playing with Jens hair while she slept.

Mia smiled when she saw me.

I sat on the bed by them and gave the girls a kiss and just watched Jennifer sleep.

'She's like sleeping beauty.. but prettier', Mia said.

'She is', I said and brushed Jens hair out of the way and kissed her cheek, making the girls giggle.

'But you can't wake her up by kissing her', Mia giggled.

'Sure I could. But I wanna let her rest', I said.

'Can we go and watch TV and play with Bella'?, she asked.

'Yeah', I replied and they both ran down the stairs.

I looked out the window.

'Crap', I said to myself when I saw a black sky moving in with lightning flashing.

I checked the weather and it looked like a bad one so I sighed and walked down the stairs to bring the girls back up.

When I got down I saw Leah sitting on the couch with Mia on one side and Mya on the other.

'Well hi there', she said.

I just laughed. 'Yes, you can come over! Doors unlocked', I joked.

'Anyhow, theres quite the storm coming. You gonna head out or ride it out here?' I asked.

'I'll be good here... I'll keep these two entertained, go make sure Jen doesn't get scared', she said.

'Yes ma'am', I replied and grabbed the chips and salsa and headed back up.

I turned on the weather channel and cleaned the bedroom while Jen slept.

The thunder rummbled loud in the distance, shaking the house a little.

I looked at Jen and she moved a little but stayed asleep.

I laid down in front of her and watched her sleep.

Out of nowhere a massive, house shaking crack of thunder hit and she gasped, jumped and sat up.

She was shaking and looking around, breathing so heavy.

'Hey... hey Jen its ok', I said.

She put her hand on her chest and started crying.

'Jenny baby, come here', I said and pulled her against me as I laid back down.

'Relax mama... Calm down, I'm right here, nothing will hurt you', I whispered as I rubbed her shoulder.

I pulled up the covers and she snuggled against me.

I held her tight whenever the thunder hit and whispered to her to distract her.

2 days later...

I was laying in bed with the girls watching TV and Jen was in the bathroom and I could hear her coughing.

'Uh... Har'? I heard Jen say.

She just came out of the bathroom.

'Yeah babe'? I said.

'Come in here', she replied.

I followed her into the bathroom.

She closed and locked the door behind her and sat down on the lid of the toilet and rested her head on the counter on her arms.

She looked weak and tired.

'Whats wrong honey'? I asked.

She was rubbing her chest.

She started to cough again, it sounded painful and there were tears in her eyes.

'Oww', she said softly and spit into the tissue and showed it to me.

It was full of bright red blood.

I jumped then grabbed it and looked at it.

She coughed weakly and spit in the sink.

'What.. the fuck', I whispered.

She laid her head on the counter and closed her eyes.

I looked at her and felt extremely worried.

I knelt down by her and rubbed her back.

'Oh Jennifer, whats happening?', I asked.

'I dont know', she whispered weakly and took a breath, 'My chest feels tight and raw... it hurts to.. it just hurts', she said weakly.

I hugged her and picked her up.

She felt limp in my arms and thats when the panic set in..
