Harrys POV

A week later..

I came downstairs after getting the girls to bed and saw Jen in the living room sitting on the couch with a blanket and her knees pulled to her chest. It was obvious she was crying.

She made it clear that she didn't need or want me to rush over and baby her when I saw the slightest tear so I sighed and walked to the kitchen.

I miss my silly, sweet Jennifer. She barely talks and hasn't eaten in days. She tries the best she can to hide her emotion from the girls since they don't understand much.

She attempts to hide it from me but I know better. She hurts physically too. Her ribs are bruised so it hurts her even to breathe and she needs help going up and down the stairs.

I got up from where I was sitting and walked to the fridge to find her some food. I found a chicken breast, bacon and some lettuce, so I made a salad out of it and put on some ranch dressing and squeezed some lemon juice on it. I poured a glass of ice water and walked out to the living room.

'Hey baby girl', I said and sat next to her.

She looked at me and then put her head back down in her arms on her knees.

I set the food down and put my hand on her back and leaned down so my face was by hers.

'Look at me baby', I whispered and she did. Her eyes were red from crying and her cheeks were wet from her tears.

'Oh Jennifer..', I said and wiped her tears away with my sleeve and just looked in her eyes until she looked down.

We didn't talk, and I didn't touch her, we just sat there in silence for about 10 minutes until I sighed.

I moved her hair off her face and tucked it behind her ear.

'God.. i'm so weak..', she murmured with her eyes closed.

'I brought you a chicken salad.. with bacon. You haven't eaten in three days', I said.

'I'm not hungry', she replied.

'Baby I know you're not but please eat. It will make you feel better. I promise', I said as I rubbed her back.

'Fine', she said and grabbed it from me.

She finished it after awhile and handed the empty bowl back to me.

'Happy now?', she said and raised her eyebrow.

'Yes actually', I replied and kissed her forehead.

'Do you want more?', I asked.

'No, I wanna go to bed', She said and went to get up but gasped in pain from her ribs.

'Come on princess, I gottcha', I said and scooped her up.

I carried her up the stairs and to the bedroom.

She had her arms around my neck and her face was nestled against my neck.

'I love you, you tiny little thing', I said and set her on the bed.

I helped her undress and handed her one of my T-shirts.

'Can you help me put it on? Sorry..', she said.

'Of course', I said and got it on her.

'Don't apologize Jenny, you can't help being hurt and It is not an issue to help you honey, I love taking care of you', I said.

She wiped a year off her cheek and looked up at me as I sat on the edge of the bed next to her.

'Why are you still with me?', she asked quietly as she looked at her hands in her lap.

'What do you mean?', I asked.

'You could've left me. I've been so much trouble for you.. it would've been easier for you if you never met me..'
