Astrid's POV

A light knock touched my door.

"Hey" he said as he saw me. I could see the lethal regret and shame into his eyes.

"It's fine, we both acted like children" I said and motioned him to join me in my dorm.

"Yeah, but I'm 52 years old" he laughed.

"Child at heart, Bradley" I laughed and he did too.

"I'm sorry, darling" he said and his eyes looked bluer than usual.

"It's fine, forreal" I responded nonchalantly. The talk with Zayn plus the fact that I was going to LA were helping me.

"So, you want to join us for dinner in Max's apartment?" He asked and I nodded.

"Lemme bring my bag and let's go"

"And Astrid" he said as I was going to the kitchen, where I had left my bag.

"Yeah?" I asked looking at him.

"I'm glad that you're happy with the Direction kid"

I smiled to the fact that he called Zayn Direction kid, just like Max.

"Thanks" I intensified my smile.

"No problem" he showed his million-dollar smile. "And by the way, I want you to tell me their best songs, so that I can listen to them"

"Brad, you certainly don't have to" I shouted from the kitchen.

"No, but I want to."

"Okay then" i smiled. "I'll tell you to listen to one of my favorites"

"No, no, no. Give me a list" he told me.

"Okay" I grinned.

"And I would also love to meet the boy, if you let me to" What?

"Brad, an hour ago you were throwing hate on him" I laughed.

"Yeah, but an hour ago I didn't understand how important he was to you. If you feel what you feel for him, he must be a great boy"

"He is" I couldn't stop smiling remembering him.

"So whenever he presents in New York, tell me. I really intend to meet him" he confirmed.

"Will do" I smiled even wider.

Brad's POV

I had never seen Tri mad. She was always a very sweet and patient girl. I really loved her as a dad would love her daughter. Indeed, Ser, Chri and her were my three girls. I understood that I had broken her heart by talking badly about that band. I know that I get somehow extreme and totally passionate when talking about music, but well, that's me. I had to change though. I couldn't hurt Tri for something as stupid as this.

I knew that Max felt more than friendly love for her though, and it made me sad that he wouldn't tell her. Now it was too late for him. To be honest, however, I don't think that Tri will last long with the guy. Not that she's bad or anything, on the contrary, she's too good for a guy like that. I can say that on first hand. Musicians are the worst.

As the sweetheart that she is, Astrid apologized me instantly. I had to show her that I'd support her no matter what. I knew what I had to do.

I had to meet the boy.

I was decided to do it. I was going to make Tri feel comfortable around us. She deserved it.
