The two of us tonight

We can make it last forever

Astrid's POV

"Please return your seats to their upright position; secure your seatbelts and turn your electronic devices off. We are about to land in the Los Angeles International Airport."

I did what the voice told me to, putting my sit straight again. I couldn't think though. I had been crying for the past two hours.

Just for the record, don't watch a sad film on a plane. You'll cry and people will look as if you were the weirdest creature of the universe.

I had chosen to watch The Last Song, because I didn't quite remember what happened in it. Last time I'd seen it had been two years ago, so my memory had erased the fact that it was a SHIT ASS SUPER, SUPER, SUPER SAD MOVIE of my mind...

I should have seen it coming. I mean, it's Nicholas Sparks' and it's called "The Last Song".

The. Last. Song.

It's the last one.

Getting back to the point, the trip had been awful. I was really down and couldn't wait to see my Zayn.

I was rehearsing in my head how I'd approach him. I'd see him and walk slowly with a grin on my face, regarding his whole attitude. As soon as I was close to him, I'd hug him and then just let things flow, I guess. The point is not making him believe that I'm a weirdo.

Well, not making him realize that I'm a weirdo.

"Fucking luggage, hurry up. I have a hot man to see" I said to myself and a young man standing close me seemed to hear it, because he started to silently crack out. I looked at him with a 'What a fuck' face and he then put a more serious image.

"I'm sorry, what you said was hilarious though" He told me smiling.

"I'm just too nervous, man. Nerves make me say weird stuff"

"It's all right. I'm Michael by the way"

What a lovely name.

"Astrid" I said directing my glance to the luggage. Mine wasn't out yet.

"So, your boyfriend's picking you up?" He asked and I smiled.

"Yeah, that's the plan" I then realized that my phone was still off. I proceeded to turn it on.

"I'm glad. He lives here?" He kept asking.

"Not really, but he's visiting here and I'm closer to LA than to where he comes from, so yeah" I explained and he nodded.

"Well, I hope that you have a great time" He cheered me with a smile. On that moment, my phone started vibrating constantly, probably receiving the notifications I had gotten while on the plane.

I opened my texts happily, waiting to have one of my man.

I certainly did have one of him, that didn't mean that it was good though...

I felt my eyes filling with tears. I must have been quite shocked, since apparently I dropped my phone without even realizing it.

"Hey Astrid, you alright?" He said, I didn't move.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I whispered.

He picked up my phone looking at the screen; he then let a small "Oh" out.

"Babe,

Paul had planned an interview for us, and I couldn't do anything to avoid it. I have arranged for someone of the hotel go pick you up though. I am immensely sorry, and I promise that I'll make this up.
