As you look down at the head laying before you, you bend down and pick it up.
"Y/N, you shouldn't..." Kugisaki attempts to intervene to stop you from feeling any worse than you already do.
You look into the familiar hazel eyes of the boy you had only met once and close them.
"I knew him," you sniffle as warm tears drop onto the curse's face. "He was only twelve."
Yuuji steps towards you and places his hand on your shoulder. "Do you want to bury him?" he asks.
You look up at him, a bit confused and taken back by the notion. After all, he was fighting the curse just moments ago.
"That's a great idea!" Kugisaki calls out.
"Divine dog: Totality," you hear Megumi call to the shadow.
You follow Megumi as his dog buries a large-sized hole in the ground. At the same time, Yuuji and Kugisaki approach the boy's body.
"Hey, there's something on him," Kugisaki points out. Your group watches anxiously as she pulls out one of Sukuna's fingers and places it in her pocket. "You can have it later, Itadori, if Gojo says so. Okay?"
Yuuji nods understandingly. With that, the two of them lift up the boy's body and places it into the grave. Carefully, you lay down his head. When you step back, Megumi's dog covers the grave. You do your best to hold in your tears- you are the oldest right now- and wipe your eyes.
"It's time to keep moving," Megumi says after a moment of silence, "it's best to go before something else shows up."
The three of them look to you for your response. You quietly nod and trail behind as the three of them walk ahead.
Thoughts flood through your mind about the boy you just buried. It must have been your kidnapper- that scientist- who killed the boy and turned him into a curse.
That asshole, you think to yourself as your hands ball into tight fists. I'll kill him.

Finally, you get to the other side of the forest. The four of you find Gojo standing on a pile of rocks in the clearing ahead. His arms are crossed and a serious look dons his face. Megumi's the first to get to him.
"Well," Gojo smiles, "it looks like my map was helpful!"
Megumi holds out the piece of paper towards his teacher. "This didn't do shit, you idiot!"
Gojo chuckles until his eyes land on you. His smile's quick to fade as he changes the conversation. "Did everything go alright?"
You shake your head and simply reply, "No."
"We ran into a curse that Y/N knew as a person before," Yuuji gently describes.
"Oh, and it had a finger," Kugisaki adds. She pulls the object out of her pocket and hands it to Gojo.
