It was Kate.I heard so many things about her but I never thought I would ever meet her face to face. " You must be Katy, the boy's girlfriend." she spoke gruffly. "I'm not his girlfriend, he is my friend. What the hell have you done to him?." I said aggresively. " Nothing that concerns you." she taunted. " Well whatever it is, it does concern me. I'm here to save him and I don't care what you I will take him back with me. " Oh sweet you really think some pathetic words will convince me to let your "friend". Well if you didn't then you are not as smart as I thought.You obviously have no idea what you got yourself into. you won't have enough time to figure that out." she cackled, raising he arms, towards me.

Before I had the chance to move, Liam jumped right in font of me . " DOn't you dare touch cause I will rip you apart." Liam growled. " Thats cute trying to protect your girlfriend, Scott your Beta is becoming just as brave as you. Aren't you proud. It's going to take more than your little Beta to "rip me apart". she spat.

I felt like attacking her right now. she is so full of herself. I know that all us were able to defeat her. i was pulled away from my thoughts by a sudden crash. It was Liam. Kate kicked him he was thrown to the other side. I immediately ran to his side. " Liam are you okay?" I asked frantically. "yeah... I'm good... I guess." he said in between breaths. All of a sudden I saw Scott and Derek heading towards Kate at full speed. They managed to knock her off balance but it wasn't enough because soon enough she was on her feet ready to pounce. She knocked them with her piercing claws. It took them a while to recover from the blow,in the mean time Malia and Kira were ready to attack when tall dark figures appeared.
The Bezerkers, well thats what Liam told me. Malia was good at defending it for a while before it jabbed her harshly in her stomach. Kira was struggling to stand her ground hen another bezerker appeared and attacked her.

I anted to help but I knew there was nothing I could do. I then realised Jake was still unconscious. Liam already went back to fight. I couldn't exactly make him stay out of it. I found Jake lying still, I started panicking,thinking that it might already be too late. I bent down and checked for a pulse. It was low but at least I knew he was still breathing... for now.

" Jake! get up!"I yelled. No response. "JAKE PLEASE!" I yelled louder. i saw him stirring. "K...Katy is that... y...you." Jake stuttered. " Yes, it is, don't worry I'm not going any where." I choked out. I couldn't stand to see him hurt and so vulnerable. This is not the Jake I know.He is much stronger than this. Kate must have done something truly horrific to leave him in this state.

" Katy... I'm.... I'm sorry-" I cut him off. " No don't apologise, it's my fault, I overreacted. I wasn't thinking straight. I'm so sorry fppr treating you that.I never meant any of those things,especially about you leaving. I need you in my life, you are one of the most important people in my life. I don't knno what I would do without you." I told him truthfully, I hugged him tightly, I couldn't risk losing him again.

I was so engrossed with Jakes safety, I didn't realise there was a Berzerker headed my way.I didn't have the chance to get out of the way. I felt a sharp pain through my stomach, I could see the blood flowing out of me as I fell to the ground with dizziness. I could not keep my eyes open for any longer... I was drifting out of consciousness, the last thing I heard was Liam's voice...

I was alone, trapped in darkness with no escape. I couldn't open my eyes. Is this what it's like to die. The darkness was overwhelming. I had no idea where I was. All I knew is that I was stabbed by the Bezerker. The odd thing was I didn't feel any pain. So maybe I was dead. No I can't be. I don't want to be. I can't live without Liam. I have to be with him. I can't leave him this way. If there was a way to get back to him. I tried opening my eyes but it was no use. I was still surrounded by the agonising darkness. If I'm not dead then what am I this is all too confusing.

suddenly I remembered everything. it was still a bit fuzzy from... Whatever happened to me but I can faintly depict the objective. I was so close. I have to finish it. I can't leave it now while I'm so close. I haven't come so far just to give it up.
I could hear people, calling my name. I knew one of them was Liam. I have to get back to him. I tried opening my eyes again, using all my strength. Eventually I was regaining consciousness, leaving all of my Previn thoughts behind.

My eyes fluttered open. I could see Liam hovering over me. "Katy, thank goodness you're okay." He sighed in relief. "Wha... _What happened" I asked still feeling a bit disorientated. "Well the Bezerker attacked you and then you blacked out." Scott said calmly. "Uhh where is Kate?" I asked trying to take away the attention from me. " She got away, we were more concerned about you" Liam stated. I could tell they were disappointed. They wanted to capture her and they didn't because of me. "Sorry" I said sheepishly. " It's not your fault, you didn't have enough time to react, I should have protected you. It's my fault." Liam said. " Liam you can't blame yourself." I said. Then it hit me... Jake.

"Where's Jake?" I started freaking out. " He is in the car, Lydia and Stikes are with him. Don't worry he his going to be okay." Kira reassured me. " Oh thank goodness" I sighed with relief. "What about his parents,are they okay?" I questioned. "Unfortunately not. I'm afraid I have bad news..." Scott started. "What, what happened?" My voice cracking. " Uh well after Kate escaped, we decided to find some clues to where she might have gone...*he took a deep breath*... Well we found two bodies."

That was all he had to say, for me to burst into tears. " No... No, it can't be true... They were the most strongest people I knew. I don't know how Jake is going to take it." I said in between sobs. "Do you think he knows?" I asked, while Liam was comforting me. " I'm not sure, he wasn't in a very good condition when we found him." Derek said. " Oh gosh, I still can't believe it's real, they were the most amazing people. They were practically family." I continued sobbing.

" It's going to be okay, trust me. You asked me to trust you, now I need you to trust me. Will you?" Liam asked. I nodded. "First lets get out of here, we need to go somewhere safe, in case the Berzerkers return and we need to get you and Jake to a hospital." Scott stated.

I went in the car with Jake, I had to make sure he was okay. Liam said he had to be with me cause of my injury, which honestly I didn't feel so bad anymore. It still hurt but not as much. Is that strange? I wasn't sure how I could break the news to him. Perhaps he already knows? This is driving me insane. When he is better than I'll tell him, I wouldn't be able to when he is in so much pain. "Everything is going to be okay" I whispered before I drifted off to sleep
