Scott was shocked when Liam and I told him about Jake. He was willing to help him and stop his murderous side. We first needed to know what he became. We called the rest of the pack to begin figuring out what Jake was. We went through tons of books and didn't find a single clue that could distinguish what supernatural creature that drains the life of people.

We then had one more book left, we prayed that it would have something.  We were about to give up when Scott found an extract that described Jake.
Demon
Demons Drains the life of humans for its own survival. A person becomes a Demon if resurrected by a powerful being. Once a person is turned into a demon, it's highly unlikely they can return to their former lives. In other words, they will remain a demon forvever. If the resurrector is killed then perhaps the demon can be vanquished.

"So we know what he is but don't know how to defeat him. That's helpful" Stiles said sarcastically. "At least we know something about what Jake is. It's better than nothing." Scott reasoned. "We also know that he was resurrected by something powerful, so he didn't come back to life by himself. It means that Jake is not the only powerful creature in Beacon Hills." Lydia announced grimly.

"This demon, sounds powerful but it doesn't mean we can't defeat him. I mean, we have faced even more powerful creatures before. Guys we can do this." Malia. Stated fiercely. "Malia is right. We will do everything that we can to try and save Jake." Scott said confidently. "The book says it's not very possible for Jake to become normal again." Mason piped in. I forgot that he was here.
"Who said we won't try." I snapped. "We are not giving up on him." I said angrily.
"We will find away to help him,we always find away." Scott reiterated.

"Okay, well I all I wanted to say is that don't get your hopes up if it doesn't work out." Mason defended himself. "Thanks for the concern but I know we will save Jake. No matter what it takes." I said confidently. I saw Liam and Scott exchange glances. Liam then led me away from the group.

"Listen, Katy...Mason is right. We are not sure we will be able to bring Jake back to normal. You shouldn't have too much hope. I don't want you to be disappointed." Liam said calmly. "Really Liam, you too?! I saw the look between you and Scott by the way. I know you think I'm in way over my head but I know we can do this." I assured him. "Scott once told me that not everyone survived. We can't save everyone." He said grimly. As soon as he said that did realise how selfish I was being. I knew there were some people didn't make it, and its not like they didn't try the best to save them, cause they did.

"You're right, if we can't save him it's okay. Cause we can't save everyone."I said, feeling ashamed of myself. "I'm not saying we are not going to try but at least you know not to get your hopes up." Liam sighed with relief.

Liam and I walked back to the group, who were still discussing the plans of taking down Jake. We first needed to find out where he is hiding. I told the group that we could find him by scent but We needed something that belonged to Jake for it to work. I then remembered I still had one of Jake's jackets that I borrowed from him a few years ago. Liam was a little shocked but he understood that I knew Jake for a long time, longer than I knew him.

Scott than gave the jacket a whiff and almost immediately knew where it would lead us to. It lead us to a place I never wanted to see again. The place where I found my parents murdered. Why would Jake want to come to this place, he is a demon now, he wouldn't know this place. Being back here brought back haunting memories I never wanted to go back to. I tried to forget that this happened. As people usually say " Ignorance is bliss" and it is.

Liam seemed to sense my uneasiness as he took my hand in his.
"Are you okay?" He whispered. "Not really but I will have to deal with it. For. Jake." I trembled. "Alright, but if you feel that it is too much for you we will go home." He suggested. I nodded in response. Liam really is the perfect boyfriend.

As we continued to walk in the direction of the scent, Scott suddenly came to a stop. "Something's wrong." He said in a hushed voice. "What is it?" Malia asked.
"There are other werewolves here but they are not normal." Scott replied. "What do you mean they are not normal?" Liam questioned. "It seems like they are possessed." Scott said grimly. "Do you think Jake did that? If he did does that mean he can posses other supernatural creatures?" I asked trembling with fear. "Yes, thats exactly what it means."Scott stated.

"So what do we do now?" Kira asked. "I think it's best that we go back home. We need to figure out how we can protect ourselves from Jake. It seems that his powers are improving rapidly." Scott said. "We didn't come all the way here for nothing." I said getting angry. "We have to do something." "I'm sorry Katy, but I'm not going to risk the lives of my pack to face Someone whose powers we don't even understand yet." Scott said sympathetically.

I couldn't fight Scott with this. He had a point. I'm not going to risk the lives of everyone else because of my selfish desire to save Jake. That doesn't mean I'm not going to try on my own. Tomorrow night I will come back here and find out more about Jake's demonic state. Without anyone's help. Well maybe except for Liam of course.

When we arrived back at the house. I wanted to tell Liam what I was planning to do. With or without his help, I was still going to find Jake. It may sound irresponsible but I know that I have to do this. For Jake.

Before I entered the house I decided to tell Liam about what I was planning to do. "Liam, can I talk to you for a minute." I said softly. "Okay, let's go inside." He suggested. "No!, I... Mean, why don't we talk here. It's a beautiful evening." I said quickly. "Okay..." Giving me a strange look.

"I'm going back." I told him immediately. "Back where?" "To Jake, of course. Where else?" "You heard Scott. It's dangerous." "I know but I have to do this. With or without your help." I said firmly. He sighed. "Fine. As long as there is no fighting involved." He stated. "Yes, of course." I said happily. "I love you so much."I said excitedly. "Yeah, whatever, only because I agreed to your suicide mission." He chuckled. "Well... Yeah, you're right." I laughed. I then kissed him. "Seriously though, I do love you." I whispered in his ear. "I love you too." He said as he kissed me softly.
