Beacon Hills is a strange place (Liam Dunbar fanfic)

Torment part 1

We all began plotting a way to defeat Peter and Kate once and for all. We all thought that Peter will most probably be working with Kate, as they have before in the past and most recently with the attack on Jakes parents. Right now I couldn't think about Jake. I had help find a way to fight against Peter and Kate.

Through this time, Liam and I became closer. We would spend almost every minute with each other. He wanted to keep me safe. I have been living with Malia for the past few days. Well technically because we are sisters I'm obligated to live with her. Even though I protested she insisted that I would live with her especially now that 2 sociopaths are on the loose.

To be honest I'm not sure how we will be able to defeat both Kate and Peter. If Kate was powerful on her own I can't imagine what it would be with Peter. It's strange how they could be working together since Peter was the person who killed her. Scott told me how those two ended up working together. Peter tried to kill Scott again. The summer before I moved to Beacon Hills.

We were always prepared. Never knowing when the two sociopaths will strike. We all took turns taking watch, while I got the least amount. They kept saying it was unsafe for me. I obviously protested against this because I wanted to help. At least I got to help a little even if it wasn't much. Liam, Lydia and I took watch together. While three of us were on watch one night, I fell asleep. I had a nightmare.

"Don't hurt him!" I yelled at Kate, who had her claws wrapped around Liam's neck. " Please, I'll do anything." I sobbed. "Oh I know you will." She smirked.
" Just let him go." I screamed.
" You will only get your boyfriend back after you kill Scott McCall" she said maliciously. I gasped.
"Never!" I shouted.
" Oh alright then you can then watch your boyfriend die." She laughed as she ripped his throat.

I woke up in a shock, screaming Liam's name. " Shh it's okay. It's okay. I'm here."
Liam soothed. " Are you okay?" He asked with concern. I nodded. " Do you want to talk about it?" He asked. " Not really." I said meekly. " You sure?"he pressed on. " I'm sure." I said,wanting to forget all about the dream. Out of all my nightmares this was the worst. This seemed to be the most real one.

Liam and Lydia made me go to bed. I was way too tired to be on watch. As Liam put me into bed, I grabbed his arm "will you stay with me please?" I asked "Sure". I fell asleep in minutes I'm not sure about him. But I knew he was really tired as well.. Malia and Scott took over our shifts for the night.

When I woke up the next morning I was really drained. As if all the life was sucked out of me. I couldn't get out of bed. . I was feeling very strange. As if I was sick. Which doesn't make sense because I never get sick.

Liam was still asleep or at least he was pretending to be. I smiled. I leant down to press a small kiss in his lips. He smiled. " I don't mind being waken up like this everyday." He said groggily. " Yeah... But you weren't sleeping so.... That's not going to happen again." I smirked. He opened his eye. "Do you have to be such a tease." He laughed. "Yeah... It's fun that way." I laughed. " We should be getting up now. It's going to be a long day." He sighed. " What do you mean?" I asked confused. "It's a full moon tonight remember." He raised his eyebrows.

Then it hit me. A full moon. I'm half werewolf. Oh great. My first full moon as a half werewolf. Well this is going to be interesting. "Uhh Katy are you okay.you kinda zoned out a bit." He laughed." Well you know since I'm a half werewolf ,this will be my first full moon." I said nervously.

"Oh yeah right. I almost forgot about that." He admitted. " Don't worry about it. I will be with you all the way." He promised. " Aren't you still learning how to control though?" " "Yeah well you're my anchor, so you will help me get through everything." He blushed." Aww that's so sweet. So that means you're my anchor too." I smiled. He nodded." Well hopefully, unless you have someone else in mind." He laughed ." Don't worry my wolf boy you're my one and only." I smiled and kissed him again.
