11th Song PART 2
Gerald’s POV
*continuation of flashback*
Yeah. So I followed her.
“Lawrence diyan ka muna ah!”
Iniwan ko muna si Lawrence, sinundan ko naman agad si Ella. Feeling close ba? Nakiki-Ella. Wala lang. Bawal ba?
“MISS!!” Tinawag ko nalang siya kasi mukhng di ko siya maabutan eh, ang bilis kaya tumakbo, athletic ata to eh =_= Nilingon naman niya ako.
“S—sino ka?” Inosenta niyang tanong, punong-puno ng luha mg mata niya, she’s really in pain.
“It doesn’t matter who am I, I’m just here to help you.”
“I don’t need help, ok lang ako.” Pagpupumilit niya, nakayuko lang siya habang nakatalikod parin sa akin. Closed fist. Ramdam ko yung galit sa tono niya.
“Aynako Miss, gasgas nayang OK LANG AKO line na yan, I’m really here to help you. And by the way, I got your glasses.” Sabi ko sa kanya habang pinupulot ko yung salamin niya na nahulog, dahil siguro sa pagtakbo niya kaya nalaglag.
“Then give it to me.” Sabi niya with a tone of authority.
“No miss. Not until you tell me what’s wrong.”
Huminga siya ng malalim. “Ok Fine.”
She walked and I just followed her. Umupo siya dun sa may bench, may garden kasi sa gilid nitong bar eh, dito kasi siya tumakbo, to find peace siguro, tahimik kasi dito eh.
“Okay. Tell me everything.”
“But… why would I? I don’t even know you.”
“ It doesn’t matter *sigh* you’ll never see me again naman eh. I’m just here to be your friend, just now.”
“Yah right, I’ll never see you again, kahit ngayon nga I can’t see you eh, you have my glasses kaya.”
*pouts* oh God, she’s so cute.
“Well, ayaw mo kasi sabihin sakin eh, so let’s start, tell me.”
“Haayyyy. Ok fine, if you really insist.”
She paused for a while, like she’s looking for strength to tell me everything.
“I saw my boyfriend cheating on me.” She paused again, nakatingin lang siya sa kawalan, her voice is so emotionless right now. Parang sanay na siyang masaktan.
“Haha *smiles bitterly* nagulat pa ko sa nakita ko eh noh? Eh matagal naman nang babaero yung g*gong yun, di na yun ibasa mga nakita ko dati, pero kasi, hayy ewan! Nakakainis naman kasi siya eh! Mahal na mahal ko naman siya, san ba ko nagkulang?! Kasama naman ako sah onors, I can dance.. yeah a little. I can sing, nrinig mo naman diba? I’m not fat, and I’m not thin also. Ano pang kulang? Ayy… alam ko na.. Magaganda sila, yung mga babae niya.”
Katahimikan.
“You’re beautiful.” Bigla kong sabi, nagulat siya sa sinabi ko.
“Really?” She sounded like a girl hearing her mom they’re gonna buy a Barbie doll.
“Absolutely!” proud kong sabi.
Then she blushed, oh God, ang ganda niya =.=
“See you’re beautiful, don’t mind that freak.”
“Hey watch you’re mouth! I love that freak.” *smiles bitterly again*
“Then you’re crazy.”
“Yah. I’m a girl crazy in love.”
“Yah right.”
“I know right.”
Awkward Silence
“Thanks by the way….. Mister?” She paused like she’s waiting for me to tell her my name.
“Mr. Pogi” then I smiled widely, yung tipong pwede sa commercial ng toothpaste.
“Yah. MR. POGI, nice try. But not acceptable.”
“See for yourself.” Nilagay ko na yung glasses sa kanya, then kissed her forhead and left.
She just sat there…. Stoned… her eyes still closed.
Naglakad na ako papalayo, I’m not sad anymore.
Thanks Ella. Hope to see you again.
“Mr. Pogi!” she screamed on the top of her lungs.
I stopped walking pero nakatalikod parin ako.
“Thank you.” She said with her sweetest voice.
“Wala yun, basta ikaw.”
And then I left…
<Monday Afternoon 12:30 pm>
Eto papuntang canteen, kagutom =___= 3 hours straight na Psychology?! Kabaog pre.
“Gerald!!” may tumawag sakin sabay akby.
“Oyy Lawrence! Sorry kagabi nakalimutan ko iniwan ngapala kita.”
“Ayos lang pre, nang-chix ka no?!!”
“G*gu, hindi ah.”
*Paging transferee, new Student Assistant, Ella Mae Delos Reyes, please proceed to the faculty right now.*
Napatigil ako sa narinig ko.
“Pare! Yun yung babae kagabi ah! Napatigil ka diyan?! Crush mo noh?”
“Adik ka Lawrence! Pero siguro nga.” Then I smiled.
*end of Flashback*
Ayun… Dun na nagsimula yung pasilay silay ko sa kanya. Madalas kaming magkasalubng eh. Ngingitian ko siya pero di niya ako pinapansin.
(Ella’s thoughts: Nginingitian ba niya ko? *tingin sa likod* ay hindi, yung nga magagandang babae pala sa likod ko :| Bakit naman ako ngingitan nitong lalaki, eh di nga niya ako kilala, pero infairness gwapos siya ah.)
Tuwing ngingitian ko kasi siya titingin siya sa likod tapos parang nadidisappoint. Ano kayang problema? :|
Dapat kasi nagpakilala na ko eh!
Eh kasi nga T-O-R-P-E !!!!
Pero nung time nagkasalubong kami sa mall, kahit na nasungitan niya ako, tapos inaccept niya ko sa fb tapo nagkachat pa kami, tapos ngayon nanliligaw na ko, siguro naman may chance na matupad na yung wish ko diba?
