i kissed you and it wasn't like fireworks
but like
melting into silk
like
knowing that was right where I was supposed to be in that moment
the rippling water
and two beating hearts
me and you
and something so breathtaking.
i kissed you and it wasn't like sparks
but like
soft blanket warmth
like
feeling dangerously flight but knowing I'm safe if i'm flying with you
the 1 am glittering sky
and two lips meeting
me and you
and something better than a moment of brilliance that will soon fade into dark
but the daring resilience of delicate.
