6 hours had past and Y/n still hadn't woken up. Her body was lying on Elijah's bed with him sitting next to her. He hadn't left her side since they got back. The others had taken turns sitting with Elijah, all of them apart from Klaus. Rebekah had flown back into town and had joined them all in the worrying time. She was in her room when Klaus came to the door.

"Cutting the Paris honeymoon short are we?" Klaus questioned her. She looked up from unpacking her suitcase and smiled as she saw her brother.

"As much as I love Paris and my gorgeous new husband, Y/n needs me. We all need to support each other through this. Especially Elijah." She spoke. Klaus looked down at his feet.

"What is it?" Rebekah asked.

"I know I don't have any chance with her. I'm her rebound." Klaus spoke sounding kind of disappointed. "We all know that she belongs with Elijah."

"Elijah cheated on her. He broke her heart into a million unforgivable pieces. She might become civil with him again but I don't think they'll ever get back together. You're not her rebound Nik. She's falling in love with you." Rebekah said.

"They might not get back together right now, but who knows in the future. You know it too Rebekah. They belong together. As for myself and her, we slept together once and haven't spoken about it since." Klaus spoke.

"Wait, you two slept together?" Rebekah asked.

The two of them stood at Y/n's apartment door.

"Well thank you again for dinner tonight. I had a really great time and you definitely helped me get my mind off my crazy life from the past few weeks." She smiled.

"I enjoyed it too. We've never gone for dinner just us before and we've definitely been missing out." Klaus smirked.

"Oh 100%." She spoke getting closer to him. Klaus' lips were now centimetres away from hers. He hesitated and pulled away.

"Um, we should do this again sometime." He spoke quickly.

Y/n cleared her throat. "Definitely." She turned to her door and unlocked it. "Well um, good night." She kissed his cheek and entered her apartment, leaning on the door after she closed it.

Klaus, on the other side of the door gently hit his head on the wall.

"You idiot." He thought. Before his brain could stop him, he was knocking on the door. Y/n answered now without her coat and heels on.

"Hi." She said. Before he could speak back, he leaned down and engulfed her in a kiss and well you can kind of tell where it went from there...

Y/n woke up the next morning to see Klaus asleep next to her. She sat up to see her clothes in small piles around her bedroom floor. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty. She just slept with her exes brother. But she wanted this. Then the realisation hit her.

'Oh sh*t.' She thought. She slid herself quietly out of bed and grabbed some of her comfy clothes that were sitting on her desk chair. She turned to the door as she was putting on her top and froze when she heard Klaus' voice.

"Leaving me already? Ouch." He joked. Y/n awkwardly laughed.

"Ha ha yeah, I'm going to make some coffee." And with that she left the room.

She was joined in the kitchen a few moments later by Klaus who was dressed in the same clothes from last night.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

Nothing." She said pouring the coffee into a mug and handing it to him. He took it and looked at her really confused. She sipped from her mug and gave in.

"Fine it's not fine. I literally ended things with Elijah like 2 weeks ago and I just slept with his brother." She blurted out. "I don't know how I'm supposed to deal with this. Am I supposed to tell Elijah? Did I just make a really big mistake? Like I don't even know how I feel about you."

"Okay, so calm down. Would it make you feel any better if we just pretended this didn't happen?" He asked. She nodded.

"Okay, so there we go. We didn't just sleep together. End of." He spoke hiding the pain in his voice.

"Oh ouch." Rebekah said. "Does anyone else know?"

"Only Camille because she walked in and pieced it all together shortly after that conversation." He replied.

Y/n's eyes opened as she gasped for breath and sat up straight. Elijah was beside her in seconds, with his hands on her cheeks trying to calm her down.

"Sh sh sh you're okay. You're okay." He spoke.

"Elijah? What the hell happened?" She asked.

"You were kidnapped by one of my ex lovers." He explained. "She was torturing you for her own enjoyment and she took it too far. We didn't get to you in time."

"What do you mean?" She asked.

Elijah spoke "The blood that I fed you from healing your injuries from your accident was still in your system when you died. You're in transition."

"Okay. So I'm becoming one of you? God why are the lights so bright and my head feels like it's going to explode." She asked panicking.

"Yes. You have to feed otherwise you will die again and this time it will be permanent. Your senses are heightened right now but they'll calm down. Here." He handed her a ring with a small Celtic knot on it.

"I had Freya make you a daylight ring just in case." She took it and placed it on her middle finger.

"Can I have some time alone? I need to wrap my head around this." She asked. Elijah stood and moved towards the door.

"We're all just out there if you need anything." He spoke. And with that she was alone in his room.

She was alone for about an hour before she went through to the library to see the rest of the family. They were all crowded in the centre of the room. There was a small gap between Kol and Freya where Y/n was able to poke her head to see Aurora was tied to a chair.

"Why is she here? Better question, why is she still alive?!" Y/n yelled. Everyone turned to look at her, stepping aside so she could see Aurora.

"Niklaus won't let anything happen to me that's why. But on another note, you look good as a vampire darling. You're welcome for that." Aurora smiled. Y/n glared over at Klaus who had moved beside her.

"Let your first kill be sweet revenge." He whispered in her ear and with that the anger in her surfaced and she lunged forward towards Aurora.

It took minutes from Y/n entering the room, to Aurora being dead. She had seen Klaus rip out many people's hearts and she did as she saw to Aurora.

With her eyes dark and her fangs out she turned to Klaus.

"I say we should send Tristan a little gift." She spoke with blood dripping from the heart she held in her hands. Klaus gave her his most devious smile and they left the room together laughing.

"She's going to turn into a monster." Rebekah spoke. "This isn't her. She's going to be a ripper,"

"No it is her." Elijah spoke. "Being a vampire only amplifies what you already are. I guess she had a dark side and none of us knew. She's just like him."
