"Come here boy! Come here and have some dinner!" Amu cooed to Oreo their husky. Ikuto and her had recently adopted an adorable puppy husky as their pet. She had just spooned a can of sloppy dog meat into a black and white bowl, decorated with paw prints.
Oreo sniffed the contents and sat down, staring up at Amu with a tilted head.
Amu pouted and ruffled his head. "Aww, don't give me that you adorable dog! You have to eat it, it's got nutrients!"
Suddenly a pair of voices interrupt her conversation with Oreo, the dog.
"Mummy!"
"Mummy!"
Two twins, a girl and a boy came running into the kitchen and into her arms.
"Hello my darlings! How was school today?" Amu asked the two of them.
The little boy ran out of his mother's arms and to his school bag. He pulled out a crumpled piece of paper, with a little it of peanut butter and jelly smudged onto it in the corner.
"The teacher told us to draw someone we love so I drew you and daddy!" he said excitedly, with a grin on his face.
"Good job, Aoi! I love it, it's beautiful!" Amu praised him, ruflfing his head and pulling him in for a hug. She turned to her little girl and asked with a smile, "Did you draw too, Ichigo?"
Pinku giggled and ran to her little Dora bag and pulled out a piece of paper, also crumpled and also covered with a smidge of peanut butter and jelly.
What can you say, they were twins after all.
"Look Mummy! I drew all of us and Oreo too!" said Pinku excitedly as she held it high upfor Amu to see.
Amu smiled lovingly and ruffled her hair. 'That's awesome honey! I love it!" She bent down to give Pinku a kiss on her cheek. She giggled as Amu's lip met with her soft cheeks.
"Later, let's show Daddy okay?" The little pair of twins cheered. "Let's go upstairs and change into something nice. We are going out for dinner!" said Amu, grinning.
"Yaaay! Where are we going?" cheered the twins both in sync. They began jumping up and down in excitement. Amu laughed to herself as she dressed her bouncy 7 year olds.
They grow up so fast. She can still remember the day of her wedding. She remembered wearing a white dress, with a multicoloured clover hair clip. As she didnt have a father, she walked down the aisle with Aruto, Ikuto's dad instead. She had asked him and he agreed to do it as she was always counted as family.
Amu remembered walking down the aisle, smiling under the veil because she was so excited to see Ikuto, in a suit. When she was finally facing Ikuto, with the veil above her head, she was so happy to see his midnight blue eyes, something so beautiful, she would become lost in them.
But she managed to keep herself from jumping onto Ikuto and kiss the crap out of him. She blushed a little as she examined the outfit, commenting that it made him look even more sexy and hot than he already was. She straightened up and caught his eyes. She wiggled her eyebrows and winked. They usually talked to each other like this, just by facial expressions, telling each other silent secrets. She told him,
You look hot. Let's do something...tonight.
He smirked and looked like he was trying to hold back a laugh. She felt like shaking her head.
Today, was the most important day for the both of them and here they were exchanging messages through facial expressions and not even listening to the priest.
