Emily's pov :

I was standing there placing my hand on my waist and with the other hand, I was holding my sand coloured coat on my back. Dazai's hands were in his pockets.
Kunikida was standing beside me with his arms crossed.

And the three of us were looking down at the tiger boy, Atsushi who still had his eyes clench close thinking the bomb would blast any moment.
Realising the fact, that nothing bad is happening, he hesitatingly open his eyes to see us smiling at him except Kunikida who had a serious look over his face.

"Jeez, you know I figured the kid was stupid, but just not that stupid!!!" Kunikida commented.

"Huh?" Atsushi, who was totally confused over the situation, slowly sat up still having the bomb in his hands.

"He even has the talent to become a suicidal maniac. Wouldn't you agree with me Tanizaki?" Dazai amusingly said as he looked at the bomber who was peeking behind Kunikida looking at little Atshushi.

"Sorry. Are you okay?" Tanizaki asked.

Atsushi blinked in confusion and he let out, "Hehhh?" confusedly looking at the bomber apologizing him but then he was cut off by a girl's voice, "Awww! My sweet big brother!!" who jumped into Tanizaki hugging him. "Please tell me you are alright?" She asked. The girl was none other than Naomi who was now freed from the ropes she was tied with.

"W-what?" Atsushi muttered.

"You were so wonderful acting as a villain! ..I had the time of my life being tied up and threatened. And I loved how intense and dangerous it felt. .. Promise me we will continue where we left off once we get home." Naomi flaunted all over Tanizaki.

"So the part time worker was in this plan too huh?" Atsushi asked bitterly.

"Are you mad? If you are upset, you should blame Dazai!" Kunikida spoke and he turn to look at us.

I let out a chuckle, "Yeah or blame yourself for choosing this idiot to help you find a job!" I said.

"Wait! Does that mean this is the job?" Atsushi asks.

"It sure is. ..I told you that there was a test involved!" Dazai replied.

"As in, an entrance exam?" Atsushi asked.

"Exactly right" An older man's voice spoke up from the other side where the staff members were standing.

"The exam has been completed without any complications President!" The staff said.

"I see" (He responded entering the room.)

"President?" Atsushi muttered looking at the tall bold, silver haired man wearing a green yukata under a black haori; a traditional japanese thigh length jacket.

We turn looking at our agency's head, i.e. our President who came and stood infront of us.

"Dazai and Emily came to my office today, saying that their work has brought them in contact with a capable young boy but I needed more than their words so I had to put you to the test." The President says as Dazai and I nodded to him with a smile.

"You did well kiddo!" I smiled at Atsushi.

"Emily and I brought up the idea that the agency hire you but since you have been designated a major threat by the ward, there was a disagreement among us as to whether we should take you in." Dazai explained to Atsushi.

"Then.. Dazai and Emily asked me a question." The President said as we recalled our conversation at his office.

*flashback*

"President!" I called as he look at me and Dazai who were standing straight infront of his desk.

"What if the most gifted person in the world came into your office wanting to work here. Would you hire him?" Dazai asked.

"Power alone doesn't make you a member of this Agency." Was only he said replying the both of us.

Dazai and I smiled looking down, "And that's exactly why we are recommending him" I confidently said smiling at the president.

*flashback ends*

"So, President? With that in mind, are you ready to make your decision?" Kunikida asks glancing at our president as all of us waited for his response.

The President glance at me and Dazai at which we faintly smiled. He turn away to leave the room without replying but before he go, he simply said, "I will let Dazai and Emily decide."

"You can trust us, Sir!" I said and with that he left the room.

"H-hold on Emily, Dazai! ..This is happening all too fast. So the job you meant to introduce me for was----" Atsushi spoke out standing up on his feet.

"You apparantly passed the test." Dazai stated as both of us look back at Atsushi.

"Welcome to the Armed-Detective Agency, Atsushi Nakajima!" I said placing my hand on his head.

"I am glad, I was able to help." Naomi cheered.

"Congratulations, you passed your big exam." Tanizaki said in a chorus.

Both of the siblings congratulated him but he was still nervous about the whole thing that just happened.

"Wait! ..No, No, No.. This job is wayyy too violent for me, and you people are completely reckless!!" Atsushi stated as Dazai and I smiled looking at him.

"Yet you are the one who threw himself on a bomb to protect the rest of us, that takes a special kind of person" Dazai said.

"Yeah.. only a few people are like you who are ready to use even their body to shield an explosive bomb in order to save everyone." I smiled.

"You know, they are right! ..I can't believe how brave you were" Naomi agrees.

"You will do fine working here" I said to him and then Dazai trailed me off, "But.............." making Atsushi looking at him questionably.

"Now, Obviously we can't force you to join.
But then, if you refuse, I can't help but worry for your future. Isn't it right Emily?" Dazai asked glancing at me.

"Huh?" I looked at him and I turn around look at Atsushi. "Hmmm" I set my fingers below my chin. "Well.. yes. We will need you to leave the company dorm. You really don't have any specialized skills nor do you have friends or any person's contacts in the city." I thoughtfully said.

"And that will make finding a job veryyyy difficult for you----" I said.

"And... Let's not forget, you are a wanted Tiger with a bounty on your head. Should anyone learn of that personal detail, you would even get fired from your job----
Or at worst, you would be captured and shot dead." Dazai said.

"S-SHOT DEAD!?!?" Atsushi freaked out.

I let out a sigh seeing the two of them and thinking about that idiotic Dazai who will never change.
He then replied him in a chorus voice, "Buuut~ if you are with the agency, it would be a much happier story---"

"So, I am stuck here?!!" Atsushi said glaring at Dazai and me and we grinned.

"We look forward to working with you, Atsushi! ..right big brother?" Naomi said as she hugs Tanizaki.

"Remember to follow the rules, rookie!" Kunikida said.

"Well, I am glad it's settled!" I said glancing at Dazai and then Atsushi who gave a annoying look to us.

"You've got to be kidding me!" He muttered letting out a defeating sigh.
