3rd person's pov :

It was next day early morning, and all of the agency's staff was called for an urgent meeting with their PRESIDENT!
Everyone of them were in a room sitting on a long table with a ipad on each of their hands.
Some of them were not in the meeting though, The ones present there were Kunikida, Atsushi, Emily, Yosano, Kenji, The President and one of his secretary.

"At present, a mysterious criminal group is threatening to detonate a huge bomb in a crowded area somewhere in the city. No only that, they have launched a smear campain against the Agency." Kunikida explained.

"I know the Agency is in a huge predicament. So, so you have any idea where the bomb might be?" Dr. Yosano asked looking at the blonde haired man who was standing at the edge of the table near the white board.

Kunikida looks at his ipad, "Not much! .. Right now, all we have to go on is the message left behind by the perpetrator. Here it is....."

"Greetings, I hope that the Armed Detective Agency and it's members are faring well. Forgive my insolence, but I have placed a bomb capable of causing mass destruction in a certain location here in the Yokohama City.
Since you claim to be an Agency aimed at ensuring public safety, I request you to locate and defuse the bomb at your earliest convenience. You only have time until the sundown. I wish you the best of luck, I have faith in your abilities.
---Respectfully, the Azure Messenger."

Kunikida reads the message while all of the staff members listened quietly.

"Strange signature. Who is the Azure Messenger anyway?" The President asks.

"We have no idea yet" Kunikida replies.

"I am still trying to find some clues but, I am not confirmed yet." Emily says.

"This bomb could ruin us. It's rigged specifically to make our team look bad. They are setting this up, so that if we fail his challenge then everyone will hold us responsible for the damages instead of them. Our failure to stop to blast will spread like wildfire." Yosano spoke up.

"Point. But the bomb could be anywhere. I heard that our office staff have been searching for plausible locations. Isn't that right?" Emily said looking at the President's secratary who was standing near by.

"Yes Ma'am. But there are too many possibilities. So we haven't found it yet!" She replied.

"Hey!" Kenji raises his hand, "I bet Ranpo could help us, Have we had any luck getting in touch with him?" He asked.

"It seems that he is still busy with the case in Kyuushuu island, southernmost Japan. ..I have requested him to contact us as soon as the criminal is caught, but... we need leads right now or else it will be too late to detonate the bomb." The secratary replied.

"Did you get any information from that taxi driver?" The President asked.

"Unfortunately No! ..He denies any knowledge of the bomb. Although, he wouldn't have the guts to blow up Yokohama itself, so I believe him." Kunikida replied.

"Okay, Listen up! ..This case is a cowardly act using intel to attack the Armed Detective Agency. We have two objectives, uncover the Azure Messenger's true identity and disarm the bomb they've set. The bomb takes priority due to it's time limited nature. If we fail to find the bomb and lives are lost, we may no longer call ourselves a detective agency." The President speaks.

"Think of this mission as a struggle for the Agency's existence and pride! ..You all are dismissed!" The President orders and all of them immediately stood up straight from their seats.
