Guys I need a favor, Tony texted to the AvengerzRule groupchat he had set up.

What can we do for you? Bruce asked quickly.

I am. Also willing, two. Help. Sincerely, Steve, came from a number that had been added recently, as the user had been reluctant to use a phone in the first place.

Tony shook his head. Stop using text-to-speech, steve. It doesn't work.

No answer. Tony shrugged and continued with his request.

I've got a homeless kid I'm providing for until the state comes to get him, Tony typed. He's a huge avengers fan. Think u guys could take 30 mins out of ur day and pop in for dinner with him?

No problem :) Clint responded. I understand kiddos. How old is he?

15, Tony almost ran into someone as he was walking, so he sat down in a chair to continue the conversation. Kinda short for his age.

What times this gonna be? came a message from Natasha. I don't have all afternoon.

7pm. Bring a good attitude, he's been thru a lot.

Bruce sent a thumbs-up emoji. Nat, Bucky, and a few others said they couldn't make it, and still a few others didn't respond. Tony understood--he ignored his phone all the time.

Only Clint, Bruce, and Steve would be available, but Tony knew it would make the kid's month.

Peter Parker looked around the Stark Tower with new fascination, the idea of living here for a little while having been planted in his brain.

Pepper had warned Tony to keep Peter Parker away from Harley and Morgan, so he had arranged for him to have a room in the private quarters, which were around the center of the tower. The Avengers each had a room there, so Tony thought it'd be cool for Peter to stay there. He seemed like a huge Avengers fan.

"Here is your temporary key card thingamajigger," Tony sighed. "It'll give you access to most floors, like the dining hall and living quarters. Don't lose it."

Parker took the card with trembling hands, wiping his nose on his sleeve.

"Dude, are you crying?" Tony asked. "Please try to refrain from doing that around here. I've got a reputation."

Parker nodded and slipped the keycard into his pocket. "Yes, sir. Sorry, sir."

Tony snorted. "Alright. Grab your stuff, let's head upstairs."

The kid swung his backpack over his shoulder and picked up the old suitcase, stepping nervously into line behind him.

Tony showed him around the main parts of the tower: the kitchens, restrooms, leisure areas, etc. He seemed overly excited, especially when Tony opened the door to a lab. His eyes popped out of his head as he hovered in the doorway, gazing at all of Tony's shiny equipment.

"Coool," he said breathlessly. Tony swiftly closed the door.

"And don't even think about going in there without adult supervision," he warned. "Your card won't let you in there anyways."

Parker nodded seriously, gripping his backpack strap. They wandered through some more floors, halls, and rooms, going in whatever places Tony thought were important. There weren't many.

Finally, they rode the elevator back down to the private quarters and Tony showed Parker to his room. When he swiped the card to open the door (with Tony's help), his jaw dropped.
