Tony loved the decorating.

He was only upset because he hadn't gotten the chance to do it with them.

"How are we gonna get the star on top?" Peter asked aloud as he unraveled a strand of garland.

"I got it," Happy said from the floor. Tony watched from his chair as Happy stood up, ran up to the couch, and used it as a springboard to launch himself at the tree.

He tried to reach up and put the star on the top, but the huge tree tilted and the lights flickered off. The tree toppled to the ground, revealing Vision floating in its place, stuffing his face with Wanda's cookies. It took him a moment to realize his hiding place was gone before he stopped snarfing them down.

"Eek!" he yelled, throwing the cookies in the air before sinking into the ground.

"Vision!" Wanda shouted after him, throwing an icing-coated knife to the floor where he had been moments before. "It took me hours to make those!"

"How can he even eat cookies?" Peter wondered aloud.

"Let a man dream!" Vision's voice wallowed miserably from the floor below.

"Helpf," Happy grumbled from under the tree. Tony ignored him.

"Wanda, don't throw knives. You could've hit Peter."

Peter rolled his eyes and put the garland on the coffee table. Harley was on the couch opposite of Tony, scowling at something on his phone. And Morgan was... Hm.

The little five year-old had Bucky under her control. He had apparently made the mistake of giving her a piggy-back ride, which always resulted in Morgan being in total control. She had grabbed onto his long hair and was using it like reins, yanking it left or right.

"Giddy up, Buck!" she shouted. Bucky squealed louder than a pig and scuttled around the room, knocking over boxes of ornaments. Peanut chased them, nickering with joy.

"Hey," Tony clapped and signaled for them to calm down. "Quit it. You're gonna break something."

Morgan simply steered Bucky out of the room with a kick to his ribs, his squeals echoing through the hall as they booked it to the kitchens to steal Wanda's cookies.

Tony was having FRIDAY play Christmas music through the speakers, and now Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree was starting. He smiled to himself as he watched Peter strike a couple of dance moves as he hung the garland, then turned his attention outside.

"Oh my gosh," he gasped. "Maguuunaaaa! Guess what!"

Bucky came barreling back into the room, Morgan still riding on his shoulders. They were both covered in icing and crumbs. She gasped as she glanced out the giant windowed wall.

"SNOW!" she squealed, jumping off of a weak-kneed Bucky and pressing her face against the glass. "Can we play? Can we play? Pleeeease!"

Tony jumped off the couch, grabbing his hat. "Last one outside's a rotten egg!"

Everyone raced each other outside, Steve bringing his shield so they could sled on it. He'd been polishing it with a kitchen lubricant lately just for this purpose, although Tony was a little concerned they'd go flying into the Hudson like Clark Griswold crashed into Walmart on Christmas Vacation.

Tony inhaled a deep breath of the fresh, cold air, grinning as he thought of building snow forts with the kids on all the land they had now.

Before he could do much, cold slammed into his neck from behind, snow trickling down his coat. He whipped around in shock, finding Peter with his arm still thrown out. He was smiling mischievously.
