"It.. it almost got me last time, you realize that?! Since someone was rather kissing around in a car than actually attacking it! Why in the hell is that my fault your holy, perfect Allison is a goddamn Argent?! You know, that could kill me!" He argued, couldn't believe it, even though they had had their differences already recently. "WHAT is wrong with you?! I have no abilities to HEAL like you guys!"

Derek wraps his arms tightly around Stiles, so he doesn't try and do more than shout. They didn't need him attacking Scott and getting hurt. He also didn't try to calm the teen down either; it would do him some good to get everything out.

"DON'T YOU DARE! Bring Allison into this! She hasn't done anything wrong! It's you that's being incompetent! You can't do anything right, Stiles! You always get in the way and cause problems!" Scott yells back at Stiles, sitting up slightly. Still not being able to move much from his injuries.

After hearing the outburst from Scott, Laura moves in front of Derek and Stiles. In case she needs to protect them, she can.

"ME?! WHERE were YOU then, when they had Erica and Boyd?! YOU were the one insisting at the beginning that I'm just fantasizing! Where were you when this thing kept me for hours in that damn pool at the school?! For all I know, I don't know her for even two months; she's far more responsible than you ever were! And if I'm such a burden to your plans- which are mine- why keep me around, then! To have a sandbag to get your moods off on?! A punching ball for whatever is attacking the City?!" He shot back, starting to tremble with anger, at the same time anxiety—stress over what happened.

"YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A STUPID DEFENSELESS HUMAN!!! I don't have to explain MY actions to YOU! You know nothing, Stiles!" Scott continued to shout, getting more and more livid by the second.

Derek could tell the anger was starting to leave Stiles, and anxiety was setting in. So he just pulled his mate closer to him, holding him tightly. Trying to calm the other down as best he could in this circumstance.

Which in turn riled Isaac up too, given Stiles dared to talk to Scott like that. Giving off a low, warning growl, Isaac made his fangs, claws appear, exchanging a look with the two others doing the same. Stiles went a bit overboard, in their opinion, like that. The said boy had gone silent at Scott's lasts words, shook slightly, now. Either of anger or anxiety, stress. He just looked at him, tears welling up in his eyes, but Stiles couldn't care about that now. Asked something instead, his voice hitching, barely there. "...Why did you never... bite me then, if I'm just that to.. to you...?"

"Because you're a nuisance! You are so annoying, Stiles! I didn't want to have to train you and deal with the endless questions you always have!" Scott shouted. He was breathing heavily now, from all the yelling.

Laura shifted as soon as she noticed the Betas do so. Looking like they were going to attack Stiles if he said anything else. She made sure her body was in between them. They were not going to hurt her pack.

A... nuisance? The last tiny bit of hope, his patience, his hopes that somehow, if there was any chance, he and Scott could clear out their differences... shattered at precisely this moment. His endless questions? "...I'm sorry I had to ask them since I was trying to keep you guys alive...." He whispered, his gaze low. Any pent-up anger, the energy he'd had until now disappearing into thin air. The boy's gaze fell, listless. He was almost... broken in a way. "...Fine. Let's... get this done with; then you'll never have to see me again...but... Not without them..."

Derek tries not to whimper at the raw emotions coming off his mate; it was painful to feel through their bond. All he can do is hold him close and try and comfort him the best he could.

After hearing the sad way Stiles responded to Scott, it made Laura mad. No one is allowed to cause her packmate pain, whether it be emotionally or physically. "Can we decide on what the plan will be and go take care of it? You said you already had a plan, so tell us what it is so we can help." She all but growls to the wolves in front of her.

Scott scoffed before talking. "The plan is simple; Stiles waits for the beast to show up while we hide close by. Once the beast appears, it's Stiles's job to circle it in mountain ash. Then we defeat it; by we, I mean the wolves." He says with annoyance like he was talking to children.

Laura grows when she hears the plan to use Stiles as bait, there was no way she was letting them do that. "We are not risking Stiles's life again to catch this thing! Look at what happened last time." She tells them.

Derek was softly growling to himself when he heard what Scott said. He could even feel himself slowly shifting out of anger. But, when this was all over, he wanted to punch Scott.

Scott sneered at the other Alpha. "Well, we don't have time to come up with anything else right now. Plus, other than that one time, this plan has always worked." He tells her.

"...Hate to say it, but.. he's right. It did. And.. before... before it's trying to get dad again or someone else..." He mumbled lowly, unconsciously leaning against Derek now, needing someone to hold onto. To psychically feel he wasn't alone. Had someone that cared for him. He felt alone, empty.

"Fine, if that's decided now, let's go. Anyone having an idea where it is?" Erica quipped in, playing with one of her long, blond curls, distracted a bit instead of paying attention, maybe a bit bored. Granted, they had gone through a similar conversation less than two months ago. "Can we get going, then?"
