He was...what? Was she kidding? A spark? What even was that? "You...you are kidding, right? I'm not- I'm just the stupid, helpless human. How can I be a spark? That's not- and even if you won't be getting any of here! Even if Scott's not coming, he won't let you have Beacon Hills, you-" He tugged desperately on his chains, unable to suppress worry, rising fear as he thought of Derek, Laura. His Dad. Were they on his and Boyd's track already? Close to find them, maybe already? Were they in danger? Would this evil witch harm them?
Derek and Laura had just been talking, trying to think of any place here in Beacon Hills where his mate and packmate could be. Suddenly, he is hit with overwhelming fear and worry, which he knew was not his own. It was coming from Stiles now; they needed to find them soon. Closing his eyes again, he tries to connect with Stiles like earlier. It takes him a minute, but he finally sees through Stiles eyes again. He wasn't sure how this was working, but he was happy it was. This time he was looking at a middle-aged woman she seemed to be talking to, but he couldn't hear anything that was being said. Trying to see anything around her, to see if that would help find where ever they were.
Finally, a thought came to him; they had to be in the abandoned mine right outside town. Opening his eyes again, he looks over to Laura. "I think I know where they are, but we should hurry. I'll call the sheriff while you drive. I think they are in the abandoned mine outside of town." He tells her before grabbing his phone to call the sheriff. He makes the call, telling the sheriff where they are going and to have him follow them there before they take off.
Stiles's Dad just hoped this assumption of Derek's(however he'd come to it) would not be an empty lead. Not wanting to hope for too much, he was on his way to the entry of the old mine, had brought one officer with him. Wishing he could get both kids out of there alive, unharmed. First of all, of course, his son. Stiles. The kid had been through so much, and now this..?
It only took Derek and Laura about thirty minutes to get to the location; it still felt like forever before they got there. When they got out of the car, they noticed that Scott and his two Betas were also walking up. "What are you three doing here?" Derek asks in a rushed tone. Still not happy to see them.
"We're here to kill the witch, so don't think about trying to take this from us. It's my territory, so we get to take her out." Scott tells them. He did not realize that Boyd and Stiles were trapped with the witch. Or he may not care either; Derek couldn't tell.
"So you didn't realize that she kidnapped Stiles and Boyd then... That's why we care here, to rescue them. The sheriff is on his way here as well." Laura deices to chime in now, not happy with anything that had happened. But she could hear the sheriff's cruiser approaching them as she spoke. Hopefully, he could help with Scott some.
It took the man just a few minutes more before he arrived there as well, not even bothering to lock the car. Instead, he went right over to the others, worry, anxiety written on his face. "How..im not even asking why you think to know yes here. Let's hope you are right...and that both of them are ok. And you, Scott...let Them Handle it. They have..more sense than you, as it seems. "
Scott had a look on his face like he wanted to respond, but the look on the Sheriff's face made him stay silent. He knew better than to go against the sheriff if it concerned his son. He just motioned for his betas to follow him, taking up the rear, with Derek and Laura in the front and the Sheriff in the middle.
Derek and Laura were walking as fast as they could ahead of everyone, needing to know if their pack was safe or not. With Derek freaked out for his mate, not sure if he was hurt or not.
The witch could tell when the party got closer to them; she turned herself to face the direction they would be coming from. "Well, it looks like you were somewhat wrong. People are coming to try and save you; let's hope it's that Alpha of yours. What did you say his name was again, Scott was it?" She said with a sadistic smile on her face, happy that her plans were working out.
Crap. Hearing her even say so made the boys' fear even more intense and increased it by a big shot. In another futile, useless attempt, he pulled desperate at his chains, trying fruitlessly to free himself. To get rid of them. To be able to do something. Boyd still hadn't woken up, also. Was there a thing like silver poisoning? "He wouldn't. Not for me! Just leave whoevers' coming alone, you-" He began again, desperate now. He tugged again at the stupid chain on one of his wrists, trying so much to get rid. Break free. Didn't want them to come, at least not just for himself. "He's not-he never really was a stupid Alpha to me! Leave them alone!" He tried again, desperate, tugging on the ridiculous chain just even more. He wanted to break free so badly. To be able to do something. Anything, literally. To protect them. They shouldn't be in danger just because of him...
