"Li Fei Hong!"

I grumbled under my breath and stopped walking. I glanced over my shoulder and saw my step younger sister running up to me. Her bright skin dazzled in the sunlight, and wavy blond hair pulled elegantly into a ponytail dangle here and there. She was pretty.

"Couldn't you wait for me?" Xiu asked.

"Why should I?" I raised my brows. Long story short, my horny father couldn't keep it in his pants, and married Xiu's mother. It wasn't for love. Just for money. So, they both could do more business together. Pathetic, if you ask me. Now, I was forced to change school, even town, so that I could get to know my new family.

Yeah.

Fuck off.

Xiu's expressions flattered. "Because you're new in this school and even in the town. Shouldn't you stick by my side?" she asked.

"Xiu, we're not real sisters. Our parents got married, that's it. I don't know any of you." I rolled my eyes. "And, I can surely find my way here." I shrugged, and walked ahead. Xiu scoffed, and fell on her steps beside me.

"You're rude."

"I'm straightforward." I replied.

"You've my number. Call me if you need anything." she patted my shoulder and I gave her a weird look. "Mother asked me to take care of you." she muttered before walking away.

I chewing my gum, and unfolded school's map to get directions. It wasn't a big deal. I had been changing schools for as long as I have started studying because of dad's business. I even had to study in boarding school for two years, but then father found the love of his life, and I was here now. Yeah.

I immediately regretted my decision of sending Xiu away because the map looked difficult to read. I looked around the buildings and sighed. I walked upstairs and leaned against the wall before waiting for someone to come there. I would rather ask a stranger than seeking help from Xiu.

A tall boy came upstairs and I noticed how his whole focus was on the notebook in his hands. Nerd. I rolled my eyes, and stretched my leg out and placed it on the front wall to block his way. Nerdy didn't see it though, and only stopped when he reached near me. His eyes scanned my leg, and then he lifted his head to stare at me.

"Hi." I smiled widely, and he frowned. "Can you tell me where this classroom is?" I showed him school map.

The boy stared me up and down. "Can you stop blocking my way?" he asked.

"Only when you tell me where it is." I challenged. The boy took a step up, and grabbed my ankle before pushing my leg down. I almost lost my balance, and glared at him. He snatched the map from me, and scanned it thoroughly. "Take a right, go upstairs. Third room is your classroom." he said.

I kept my eyes on him as he took my hand and placed the map there. His eyes gave me a disapproving look. I huffed as he walked past me. "You think you're cool? Nerdy?" I asked as my feet brought me to him.

He glanced at me. "You don't look cool while doing the gymnastics on the stairs as well." he replied.

"Nerd." I scoffed, turning around but almost stumbled back when his tall figure hovered over me.

"I helped you." he said. I didn't reply and walked past him. Why did I have to change school? I should have stayed in boarding school.

I came here in hope of getting my father's love, but he again disappointed me. He always had. I shook my head, and followed the directions by nerdy boy. Fortunately, he gave me the right directions, and I entered the classroom.
