Chapter 9

Y/N POV
NEXT DAY| 3 PM

Chris and I are sitting in his car right now because he absolutely wanted to drive me to my mother's house and didn't accept that I was going with the Uber. We have already had breakfast at Lisa's home and got ready.
My mother lives not that far away, about 25 minutes from Lisa's home.

"Will Lilly and Lena be at  your Moms House .
today?" Chris asks me curiously and looks over at me.
"Yes, she said the two of them were already there and happy that I'm coming ," I answer and look back at him. "If you like you can stay, I think we'd all be happy about it, especially mom," I chuckle.

"It's okay. Enjoy the few days  with your family", Chris rejects my suggestion and looks back at the street because the traffic light has turned green again.
"Chris, you know that my mother will be mad at you if you don't come in for at least a few minutes" I try to convince him.

It would be really nice if Chris would stay a bit because he and your mom get along very well. It would feel like it used to be again.

"I'll think about it," replies Chris provocatively and laughs softly.
"Think carefully, otherwise my mom won't talk to you for a long time, you know how resentful she can be sometimes" I tried to warn him in advance, but I'm sure that he will stay.

It's not far until we get there and I just got a call. I look at my  phone and see that Nicole, my manager, is calling me, probably because of the WIRED interview or the press. I take the call.

"Hey Nikki" I greet her with her nickname, because we are like friends and she doesn't mind if I call her that.
"Hi, Y / N! What are you doing?" my manager asks me curiously and waits for my answer.
"I'm going to my mom's House with Chris, why?" I answer her question and I am curious why she calls me.
Chris turns his head to me to see if everything is ok and I nod yes.

"with THE chris?" Nikki asks me, shocked and amused, and I can't help but giggle because she's such a fangirl.
"yes Nikki, THE chris" I answer her question and look at chris who is already laughing because he can already imagine what Nikki asked on the phone.

"OMG why didn't you tell me? I'm your manager and friend ,I need to know everything." Nicole says disappointed and I just roll my eyes.

"Nikki, whats the point?" I ask her, behause she just doesn't get to the point and talks about it.
"oh yeah sorry, uhm I just wanted to make sure that you know that the WIRED INTERVIEW will take place tomorrow and .." Nikki informs me and extends that and further out to make it more exciting.
"... there will be a third season of your Netflix series, you have been invited to a meeting" she tells me overjoyed, which makes me very happy because I loved to play this role.
"That's amazing, Nikki". I am speechless and didn't know how to answer her because I didn't expect a third season even though the demand from fans and viewers was very high.

"I'll send you all the information about the appointment such as time and place" informs me Nikki and I can no longer hide my big smile and nod even she doesn't see it.

"Please do that and thank you. That made my day  Even better". I thank her and see from the window that we have arrived and that Chris is parking the car in front of the house.
"Nikki, I have to hang up, write me later", I say goodbye to my manager and hang up.

As soon as I hung up, I look at Chris with wide eyes and a wide, unmistakable smile.
"What did she tell you?" Chris asks me curiously and also smiles because he expects positive things.
"There will be a continuation of my Netflix series," I say and quack like a small child and Chris giggles and congratulates me.
"All the best, you deserve it, I already find the first two seasons were great," Chris tells me.
