Y/N POV

I know that I didn't want to be persuaded by Minka, but the uncertainty is killing me. I finally want to be able to finish with her and finally enjoy my life in peace and contentment with Chris.

And that's why I decided to meet her at the meeting point.

I'm actually pretty sure it's a complete waste of my time, but maybe I'll be able to wrap it up then.

Chris doesn't know anything about it, neither that I met Minka in the lobby of our hotel this morning nor that I'm going to meet her now. He'll most likely see it as unnecessary and a mere waste of time, just like me, yet he'll understand my decision, I know that.

Chris is currently in the bar at our hotel with Tom and Mackie and are spending the rest of the time until I get back.I said to chris that I want to go for a walk to call my mum or sister because our call this morning was pretty chaotic and hectic.

Now I'm standing here in the park in front of our hotel, waiting for Minka, who's already a few minutes late. It's freezing out here so I wrap my coat tighter around my body. Snow in New York covers the ground and roofs of tall buildings.

With the freezing wind blowing against my face, I don't recognize the person coming towards me. I tuck my hands in the pockets of my coat as an unfamiliar man greets me with a simple nod.

I smile at the man out of politeness and try to look behind him to see if Minka has already came, but his body blocks my view. Instead of walking past me, the man stops in front of me.

I give him a questionable look and raise my eyebrows "can I help you, sir?".

He nods and takes a deep breath in and out "I'm here on behalf of a friend of mine."

"I think you're mistaking me for someone" just as this is all getting too frivolous and weird for me, the man, who I assume is in his thirties, grabs my arm and drags me closer to the park.

"Excuse me?" I try to break free of his tight grip but it seems impossible.

"Now listen to me sweetie" he starts and suddenly doesn't look at me so friendly and nice anymore.

"First of all, you let go of me right now and secondly, don't call me sweetie!" I regretted my decision to come here and meet Minka in that very moment and I wish I hadn't gotten involved in her little games.

"Feisty... just the way I like it" he looks around and as luck would have it, there are no people here. Why then, what stupid person goes to the park in New York shortly after eight in December.... Right, nobody but me!

"Actually, I wanted to explain everything to you in peace, but as I can see you can't be persuaded, so it has to be done quickly now." The man also grabs my other arm with his other hand and turns me around abruptly so that my back hits his chest.

"If you don't let go of me right now, I'll scream so loud that you'll need a hearing aid for the rest of your life!" I can't help hearing the tremor in my voice, I'm so scared that I hardly have the strength to speak. I need my Chris to come and help me.

"So you're a screamer...I like it even more"

"What do you want from me... please just let go of me" I wiggle around to free myself from his grip but it seems useless as he tightens your grip on my wrists even more.

I can feel his breath on my neck, which is why I can say that he is approaching me "I am a friend of dear Minka, she commissioned me to come here... and do you know what she told me?".
