Chapter 21

Y/N POV

The ringing of my cell phone wakes me up, I ignored it but it seems to be important because it is ringing the third time.

I feel that a hand has a strong grip around me and this is preventing me from moving. I try to turn around to get my ringing cell phone but I am only pushed towards the person next to me.

I finally give up and lean on Chris' ear "Chris let go of me, I have to answer my cellphone".

I hear that chris groans and takes his heavy hand from me which makes me giggle and grab my cellphone.

I answer quickly "hi?".

"Where are you, I've been waiting for you in front of your apartement for twenty minutes" Megan asks me annoyed.

I widen my eyes in shock because I forgot our shopping day. 'Shit' I mumble to myself and slam my hand on my forehead.

"Uhm .. I'm so sorry I'll explain it to you. I'll be home in fifteen minutes" I try to make it up again even if I don't want to leave Chris and want to continue cuddling.

I hang up and look at chris who is, confused and tired, looking at me "shh sleep".
I lean over and kiss his cheek as he grabs my wrist and prevents me from walking away.

"where are you going we only have 9 AM?" chris wants to know and his husky, raspy voice makes me soft knees.

"Me and megan wanted to go shopping today and I totally forgot" I explain the situation to him on what chris lets fall back into the pillow.
He groans and rubs his eyes while I take my clothes from yesterday out of the bathroom and change.

Since I'm only wearing Chris' t-shirt, I pull it over my head and put on my sweatpants. I turn my head briefly to Chris in the bedroom just to see him watching me. I giggle and can't help smiling.

"are you sure you don't want to stay here after all .. with me?" Chris tries to convince me while I put on my sweater and walk out of the bathroom.

"I would love to stay longer, but then Megan will tear my head off and will pierce me with questions" I try to explain to him why I have no chance to cuddle with him any longer.

Chris rolls his eyes in amusement and pulls the blanket off his body and walks towards me.

"What are you doing, go back to sleep" I ask him and take my cell phone before looking at him and see that he is only wearing his sweatpants and is shirtless.
I completely faded it out yesterday because I was so tired but now that I'm awake and in a hurry, I can't even enjoy this sight.

Chris opens the bedroom door and waves with his hand "now I can't go to sleep anyway".

I chuckle and follow him down the stairs to the hallway. Dodger suddenly jumps on me which scares me because I forgot the cute little one.
I bend down on my knees to be on a level with dodger and poke his head. I giggle as dodger starts licking my face. Chris bends down just like me and tries to take Dodger off me.

"calm down dodger, this is not a farewell. She will come often" chris tries to calm his dog down because he seems really excited.

I look to chris and he winks at me to make me blush. I am so happy that Chris now spends time with me more often and that I get to know him even better and better. Me and Chris get up from the floor again and walk towards the front door.

"I had a great evening, thank you" I say goodbye which makes Chris grin.

"You should also sleep here more often so that I can make your favorite breakfast the next morning," says chris, which makes me smile and look forward to the next time.
