Chapter 20

Y/N POV

I'm just driving into Chris' driveway and I'm really looking forward to it and can't stand my excitement anymore.
I look at the clock and see that it is 9:30 PM, that's because I took a long shower at home and changed my clothes. I put on white sweatpants and a white sweater.

I get out of my car and walk nervously to the front door before knocking on her. I hear dog balls that can only come from Dogder and I'm already smiling  until the door is opened and Chris is standing in front of me.

He wears gray sweatpants and a white tight t-shirt that flatters his body. I hope that my mind doesn't deceive me today, but I doubt it. urghh!

Just as I want to go into the house to hug chris, Dodger comes towards me and excitedly jumps on me. Chris and I laugh and I get on my knees to take dodger off the floor and keep him in my arms. I stroke dodger's head and lift him up.

"Dodger is the cutest" I say while I paw the cute dog on the head and he continues to lean against me.

"yes he is" he says while caressing dodger just like me "but he interrupted me from greeting you".

I look up from Dodger to Chris who is grinning at me and looking at what is contagious with bright eyes. He leans forward to me and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

I blush and enjoy his sudden closeness and smell his perfume which gives me goosebumps. Chris leans back what makes my eyes open and grin broadly. He pulls me into the house to close the front door behind me.

I walk down the hall with Dodger in my hand until we get to the kitchen and there we can already enjoy the delicious smell of popcorn.

"you can go into the living room and make yourself comfortable" suggests chris behind me what makes me walk into the living room.

"which movie do you like to watch?" I want to know and I sat down on the couch with Dodger in the living room.

"I don't care, you can choose a movie," he says from the kitchen and walks to me with the popcorn and blankets in his hand.

"I'll see what there is to choose from" I suggest and look up at chris who is still standing in front of the couch because he has put the popcorn on the table in front of us.

Chris nods and hands me one of the blankets, which I thankfully take from him and spread on the couch.
I watch on Netflix which movie we could watch while chris sits down next to me on his big couch.

"how was your first day filming today?" he asks me and looks like me on the tv.

"It was strange because the last time we were all together in front of the camera was six months ago, but it was still nice to see most of them again" I replied with a calm and relaxed voice and look at Chris while I keep pawing at dodger.

"It seems as if he would rather stay with you than with me," chris guesses with a laugh and we both look amused at dodger who is lying on my lap and looking ahead.

"It's because I'm paying attention to him and pawing him," I say, giggling as Chris infects him and giggles too.

I keep looking for a film until I see 'Jumanji: The next Level', "How about this movie? I've heard a lot of good things about it and it's supposed to be funny".

"yes, why not", Chris assures me and gets up from the couch to turn off the lights in the living room. I click start and since the only lights come from the tv and from outside I don't see Chris very well.

Chris walks  to the side table where there is a lamp and clips it on, which brings some light into the room. Chris sits down on the couch next to me again "Are you sitting comfortably?".
