Fast update :) I updated quicker because I have midterms this week and really wanted to get this out before I got tied down with studying *sigh*

AARON'S POV

I was pacing around the forest in my wolf form growling my head off.
He kissed her!
How dare he kiss Emma against her will!
And threaten to change her if she steps out of line! I knew it was a possibility but whoa
now that he actually said that I want to rip his head off.
A million burning questions run through my head:
Why Emma?
Why did he pick her to be his mate?!
Why did he kiss her?
And most importantly: Why the hell did I care?
This was getting way too confusing. Every time I see her I feel like I'm being set on fire.
If she were anyone else I would have never in a million years told her about my past.
But what made her so special.
That was the million dollar question.
I think back then to the day I first heard about her. Connor was raving about a girl who could lift objects with her mind. Back then I couldn't care less about who he chose as his mate but now...

The fire was nearly out and Amber kept complaining about how cold it was and how we should steal a house or something.
Lily had laughed and cuddled closer to Scott her mate.
Scott was sort of in a way like me. He hadn't been here when they started the pack but Lily had found him one day in the woods and he had been a rogue and he joined our pack much like I had.
Chase was M.I.A again. He loved to piss Connor off and skip pack meetings. He told me once that he thought they were pointless since there was only 6 of us and we all lived within 20 feet of each other.
I had to say I agreed. We talked to each other on a daily basis. What was so important to Connor that he'd called yet another boring gathering around the good ole campfire.
"Connor you better get your butt out here. We're freezing!" Amber yelled and I rolled my eyes at her.
She and I had never gotten along well. I teased her constantly and even though we both would never ever admit it we acted like broter and sister... almost.
Connor comes bounding out of his tent then with to my utmost shock a bored looking Chase.
Connor sits down on my right with Chase on his left side.
I could really go for a run right now, I think to myself. I hadn't patrolled in at least two days and it was driving me insane.
I stare off into the forest for a second before Connor interrupts my haze with his Alpha voice that says he's all buisness.
