Fast forwarding to the birthday party !

I woke up to water being thrown on me Zamariah on top of me and Ma in my face singing happy birthday with a tray of food in her hand. I couldn't help but to smile. "Happy Birthday to Hayden, happy birthday to youuuu!!" they finished. I smiled and got out of bed. I gave both of them a kiss and I ate my breakfast. I didn't wanna do anything but knowing who my mom is I knew that wasn't possible. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I was done I just stood there and stared in the mirror, I'm 17 years old . I'm more than blessed to see another year. I was waiting for dad to come wish me a happy birthday but I forgot I don't have one.
I didn't want rethink the situation of that day so I took a shower and went downstairs where ma and Zamariah was.
Ma was cooking Zamariah and herself breakfast and they were already dressed. "Where are we going?" i asked. " Big son of mine we are going to the mall and store so I can buy you whatever you want." she said.
"Ma I.don't want anything though." I was continuing but she told me to shut up so I did. There's no way I can win an argument with her. We locked up the house and shortly we were at the mall.
"Can we leave now!" I whined. We were at the food court with a lot of bags, once again she told me to shut up and I did. She sent me to order food while I was in the line somebody behind me called my name. I turned around and met the face of somebody I never wanted to see.
