Chapter 12 - Kiss

Maddie

I woke up and saw George next to me still awake and he was just staring at me. "You know staring is weird, right ?" I said. "I know, but I can't help it." He said and grinned. His dimples were showing. I never even noticed them.

I sat up and checked my phone scrolling through social media, George did the same. I got bored and lay my head on his shoulder and watched what he was doing. He was arguing with Clay, about whether pineapple belongs on pizza. George said it doesn't and Clay said it does. And I thought girls fight for the stupidest reasons...

I wanted to cry again but I tried not to. I was just sad. "You okay ?" George said as he noticed that I was sad. "Yeah, it's just that, why would he even do that ? Like, what is wrong with me for him to just, cheat and not even caring.." I said. "Maddie, I know for a fact that nothing is wrong with you. You are literally beautiful, amazing, talented, successful... and much more. Any guy would be like as hell to be with you." He said which made me smile.

We started leaning in and I just cupped his face and kissed him. We were having a whole make out session.

A few minutes later, we were still making out and my phone rang. I pulled away to check who it was. It was Alyssa. I heard George groan as I answered Dixie and giggled. "Someone is in a brighter mood." She said. "Yeah." I said and George groaned again, louder which caused me to laugh again. "Girl, what you laughing about ?" She said.

"Don't worry about it." I said. After my conversation with Alyssa, I went back and George and I continued what we were doing.
