Chapter 15 - Date

~ George's POV:

I was pretty nervous but excited for the date. I then remembered, "Oh, hold up Mads, I'll be right back." I quickly run upstairs to my room and got a big box. I took it to my car and put it in the trunk. In that box, there was a dozen flowers with a note which says

Dear Maddie,
Ever since I first met you,
I instantly fell for you. You seemed very confused which I found really cute. I know, it may sound weird coming from your enemy for so many years, but I really can't help my feelings. I just hope you see where I am coming from. I really, really like you. <3

It sounded pretty corny but I can't help it. I just wanted to show her that she doesn't have to be afraid of me, and that I wouldn't hurt her no matter what. But everything I said in that note is not even 100% true. It's 1000000000000000% true. I mean, how could you not ?

~ Maddie's POV:

I wonder what's in that box..

Anyway, we arrived at a really cute beach set up. It was a really cute 2 chaired table with a basket which had a bunch of roses, my favorite kind of flower. How does he know this ? Noah probably told him. "Omg, George this is so cute!" I said, not lying at all. "You're cute." I blushed at his words and ended up hiding my face. I heard him chuckle a bit.

He put down the box next to him. "What's in the box ?" I asked. He told me not to worry about it. We were just talking and laughing until Josh came dressed as a waiter ? "Clay ?" I asked. "Up until now I am waiter, not Clay. I don't know who that Clay is but all I know is that he really can't get a girl.." George laughed as he was embarrassed. I giggled. He handed us two 'menus'. "Really? That's the best you can do, Clay ?" George called him out. "No no no. It's waiter not Clay who can't get girl. And yes, I worked hard on these, okay ?" Clay said, oh sorry I mean waiter said. 

I giggled even more. I looked through the menu as Clay left. George apologized for Josh's behavior. "Hey! You heard what he said. It's not Clay who can't get a girl, it's waiter!" I corrected him playfully. He laughed. "So what do you want to get ?" He asked me. "Hmm... probably the chicken meal.." I told him. He agreed with me and said he'll take the same. Waiter came back and took our order.

~ George's POV:

We finished eating and I thought It's time. Here goes nothing...

~ Maddie's POV:

All the sudden, George was REALLY nervous, which I found weird. "George, are you... okay ?" I asked. "Hm? Yeah.. great.." he lied. It was kinda obvious that he wasn't okay.

He sighed and took out the box. He gave it to me. "Open it!" He told me excitingly. I opened it and I found a dozen of flowers with a note. The note was so cute. This is what it said :

"Aww.. George.." I looked up at him. He was standing with the bouquet which was in the basket. "Maddie, will you be my girlfriend ?" He asked sweetly. I looked at him for a little bit and he started to get worried. I was just teasing him. "Yes! Yes! A million times yes!!" I yelled excitingly and jumped in his arms. He was relieved.

~ George's POV:

YES! She said yes! WOOOO

Yeah, I should calm down. I was so happy.

We went home and cuddled to sleep.
