Chapter 17 - What The Heck

Maddie

I was at the lunch tables and I saw Elle flirting with George. George seemed to be flirting too. Ugh, great !

I went over there. "Baby, what the hell are you doing, flirting with her ?" I asked. He turned around and it wasn't George. My cheeks went red. "Oh, sorry, I thought you were-" He cut me off. "No worries."

Not gonna lie, he's really cute. Wait, no. Maddie, you have a boyfriend.

"Wait, do you wanna hang out some time ?" He asked. "Sure !" I smiled and slightly blushed. Wait, blushed ?

George

I came to school and saw Maddie talking to this unfamiliar guy. She then blushed. Are you kidding me ?

I decided to go up to them and wrap my arm around Maddie's shoulder. "Hey guys. What you, talking about ?" I asked. "Nothing, don't worry-" Maddie started but got cut off by that guy.

"Oh, I was actually asking her out on a date. Why ?" He asked. "A date ?" Maddie and I said at the same time. "Really, Maddie ? A date." I said and looked at her, surprised.

"Look, baby, it's not-" "It's not what ? It's not some guy asking you out when you literally have A BOYFRIEND." I said almost yelling. She flinched at my tone but I really couldn't care less. "He asked me out to hang out ! Not on some stupid date ! Besides, I thought you were him flirting with Elle ! That's why I approached him in the first place." She said yelling.

"Ok, so now you're lying ? You know what ? It's over." I walked away. I thought Maddie was different but she's just like the others.
