Chapter 9 - Jealousy, jealousy

Maddie

I can't be jealous. I mean it's George, George. How could I be jealous of Emily for being with George ? Oh no...

George

Maddie's face was priceless. The way she rolled her eyes and walked away just proved to me that she's jealous. Wait.. Why would she be jealous ? Does she like me ?

I just brushed it off and walked towards my locker. I noticed Maddie was there so I texted Emily.

"I miss you."

I was obviously lying. She came running towards my locker with a smirk and roughly made out with me. Disgusting..

I was only doing this to make Maddie wish it was her.

Maddie

Seriously, again ? It's not that I'm jealous, obviously not. It's just disgusting. At this point, he's literally doing it on purpose. I literally made him date Emily, how could he actually like her..

I literally sprinted out of there. I didn't want to see any of that. I saw Alyssa and ran to her. "Damn- What's up with you ?" She said. "I have a big problem.." I said and looked at George's direction as he was still making out with Emily. Alyssa smirked, she knew what was wrong.

George

"Ok, ok. Emily that's enough. Emily! She's gone. You don't have to- Oh shoot." I accidentally blurted out that Addison was gone. "Are you kidding me ? Who's gone ? Who's gone, George ?!" She yelled. "Ok, fine. I was using you all along. I don't actually like you and Maddie lied to you about me liking you because we both hate each other." She gasped. "Well, fine. I have been cheating on you all along. Anyways, I'm not going to help you make I don't even know who jealous." She spat back. I shrugged it off. "Oh well, looks like we are over now." I said, faking being sad. I got rid of her..

Maddie

"Are you just gonna smirk ? This is a huge problem !" I said annoyed. "I knew this day would come. Maddie Laurier and George Henry Davidson, enemies to lovers." She said out loud and George was right there. "Enemies to lovers ?" George asked as he smirked. I was as red as a tomato, probably even redder. "She thinks I like you, she's going crazy." I lied. "Mhm." He said sarcastically. "Yeah, Maddie isn't lying, definitely." She said as she stared what felt like in my soul while smirking like a damn sociopath.

"Your friend is possessed." George whispered to me as he stared at Alyssa. "Trust me, I know." I said blushing a little from how close he was to me. Alyssa then squealed. George gave her a confused while I gave her a death stare.

She rolled her eyes.
