Akatsuki's Favor - Chapter 19

[ Sorry it took awhile to update, was enjoying my break and now I'm sick. ;~; ]

"Love hurts, Hidan." Tsunaka states, quoting himself from before.

I mentally had to hold myself back from slitting this old man's throat, 'did he really just call me out?' I break my glare from the old hag to Hidan. His reaction wasn't what I expected, I thought he would be angry, avoiding what the old man said but he didn't avoid it. Hidan looked so confused, but Kazuku had an idea on what was going on here. I knew since Hidan was a Jashinist, he wouldn't know how or what love exactly is. After all, he's a sadist. 

"What the hell is he talking about, Hana?" Hidan glared down at my short figure, managing his best not to kill our host of the scroll, along with me. I exhaled a depressing sigh, "No idea," I muttered before continuing my walk to the base. I just wanted to turn this mess in then go in my new room to sulk. I was stopped, I looked back to see Hidan holding a grip on my arm. I gave him an confused look, then looking to Kazuku, who was smirking. "Just talk it out, it's what couples do." Kazuku states, then begins to leave with Tsunaka. "I'll turn in the mission to the leader, and tell him that you two were worn out." Kazuku's cheeks looked as if he had a smile under his mask. 

I watched Hidan with curiousity when his grip was removed from my arm. 'He looks uncomfortable.' I thought to myself as Hidan scratches the back of his neck while looking off to the side, looking embarrassed. It made him cute looking helpless with words, I couldn't help myself but to hug him. Hidan eyes widen in surprised, then brought his strong arms around me into his embrace. "Hi-san," I whispered, wanting him to tell me what was on his mind. It drove me insane not being able to read thoughts, I wanted to read every word that couldn't escape his pale lips. Hidan gave out a low grunt, "You, I mean your damned shadow clone, shouldn't have been, fucking eh..." Hidan carried away with his words that went over his head. I watched him carefully with each word and breath he took, "I'm not fucking good with fucking apologies, dammit!" Hidan blushed, irritated with himself and the situation that I put him through. 

I giggled at his words, "Apology accepted, you asshole." I smiled as he smirked. I couldn't help but keep the goofy smile on my face, 'He's still blushing, how cute!' I began to feel a blush creep upon my cheeks when I lowered my gaze from his cheeks to his smirking lips. As much as I wanted to take his body right on this very grass, I couldn't. It was very unprofressional, and I wouldn't want Hidan to mistake me as his new toy. 

~Hidan's P.O.V~

I felt a smirk creepy onto my flustered face, then leaned down to the side of her head, "Why are you--" my whisper was interrupted by her shoving me back off of her. I looked at her slight annoyed, "Oi, what the hell?" I muttered, staring at her now red face. "Don't think I'm that!" Kanna exclaimed, blushing off of her own heat from her face. I smirked, 'What could she possibly think I was saying?' I stared into her starry sparkling blue eyes, I found myself getting lost in them. "Why are you--" I started again, to be cut off by her very own words, "I am not fucking horny, you ass!" I raised an eyebrow, suddenly all my interest raised up. She caught me off guard with that statement, "That's not what I was going to fucking say, but are you sure you're not? Shit, I could give you a fucking damn memorable time." I winked at my own amusement.

I watched her as she widen her eyes then looked away in embarrassment. Kanna pouted her lips before looking back at me, "Shut up, Hi-san!" then turned her back to me to head to the headquarters. I chuckled as I followed closely behind her, back to the base. Honestly, I did feel bad for treating her clone like complete shit, but if you fail your first mission, don't bother with a mission at all. I should've known that she's stronger than that, she has well complete hidden chakra, I couldn't search if she even had any at all. I watched as she escaped my view, going to her room.

~Kanna's P.O.V~

I can't believe two things happened today, well three. First, I basically did this whole mission myself. Second, I keep using my skill, which I shouldn't because I'm trying to hide the fact that they could find out how worthy I am. Third, that old hag, Tsunaka, basically told Hidan my liking of him! I sighed, 'I'll just train how to summon weapons again, and control my feelings around Hidan so I'll stop fucking up.' I nodded to myself, then fled my room to the training grounds that was near the Akatsuki base. 

I sat down on the grassy field, sitting on my knees. I closed my eyes, allowing myself to relax to the cool breeze that went along with the sunny hot rays. I began to breathe slowly, relaxing to start medicating and gain self control. I needed to get the unprofessional out of my system, it wasn't me. I'm supposed to be mature, loving, caring, and well kept to myself. 'Not reckless!' 

"What are you doing out here?" A familiar dark voice interrupted.
