Luke's POV

The following day literally couldn't have gone by slower. The clock refused to move no matter how hard I glared at it. Unfortunately for Calum, I contained a seemingly infinite amount of time on my hands so I could pester him about Michael. I think he was equally surprised with himself as he did me. The raven boy's sudden liking of a guy caught us a little off guard.

"I-I guess I'm bi? I d-don't know. I have no idea how this even works." Calum huffed and plopped down next to me on my bed. I shook his hands through his hair, causing the dark locks to stick up every which way.

"So you liked what happened with Michael?" I giggled earning a glare. I've never really been a sexual person like Calum is. Maybe I'm not into those kind of things because I never had a good experience with a guy. But I still think cuddling is more in my area of expertise.

"Well I guess so? He was really sweet to me even though we were drunk."

"Ooooo so you're a bottom?" Calum's face burned a scarlet red as he snatched up a pillow and smacked me with it. I was laughing too hard to care, though. It seriously was adorable how he was embarrassed to talk about this.

"He asked me out on a date tonight." Calum mumbled, grabbing the remote off my night stand for my TV. I clapped spastically and squealed while the dark boy rolled his eyes.

Calum flipped through a variety of channels before leaving it on Spongebob. There's nothing wrong with two, mature, 18 year old boys watching a cartoon. Stop laughing.

"Speaking of dates." Calum added, "Where are you and Ashton going?"

I shrugged since I honestly didn't know. I was bad at surprises because I always wanted to be prepared for everything. All of my "dates" I've ever been on seemed to constantly end awkwardly. The guy would make advances I didn't feel comfortable with and it went down hill from there. I didn't even know if this was a date anyways. Ashton only asked to hang out. He could be straight and I've already been friendzoned.

One can only hope I guess?

"Luke! He's here!" Calum's voice shouted from the living room. I cursed as I frantically put the final touches on my hair, the blonde strands pulled up into a quiff.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror for a few moments, watching as my blue eyes were filled with nothing but nervousness. I was hoping my Nirvana tee and skinny jeans weren't too casual. I was also hoping that my pale complexion was good enough for Ashton. Anything less than perfection doesn't deserve him.

"Lucas, get your ass out here!" Calum huffed. I jumped at his loud voice and rushed to the small living room. Before I could ask my best friend about my appearance, the door bell rang. I immediately began biting down on my lip hard while stupidly standing still.

Calum gave out a loud sigh and shoved me toward the door, making me stumble. I hesitated before twisting the door knob and tugging it open to reveal a very pleasing sight. Ashton wore a black Misfits t-shirt with black skinny jeans that hugged his legs in the most perfect way. His curly hair was pulled back into a red bandana and it was the most sexiest thing I've ever seen.

I didn't realize I was staring at the beautiful boy until I heard a chuckle fall from his pierced lips. I blinked and became very interested in my shoes while a red blush took over my face.

"Ready to go?" A heart warming smile appeared on his face, and all I could do was nervously nod.

Shutting the door behind me, we walked down a variety of stairs before heading to the small parking lot. On the short journey, I kept brushing my fingers through my hair and tugging my shirt into place. I was hoping that my fidgeting actions would go unnoticed but Ashton's quick, hazel eyes noticed.
