Luke's POV

"Calum I'm so bored." I repeated for about the tenth time today.

I was sprawled out on my couch in my small apartment living room. It was another dreary Saturday and I desperately itched for something to do. Although I'm always too nervous to be around people most of the time, I would do anything for some entertainment.

Calum sighed from where he sat in an arm chair.

"Movies?"

I scrunched up my nose.

"Arcade?"

I shook my head.

"Mall?"

I eagerly nodded at the suggestion, smiling brightly as I raced to my room to get dressed. Since it was colder outside I slipped on my red flannel. I've mastered the art of putting on skinny jeans so I was able to swiftly pull on my black pair. My hair was already in a quiff so I was all set. Calum decided to lose his keys so we were currently searching the apartment for them.

After shoving my hand between a couch cushion, my hand clasped the metal rings.

"Got 'em!" I announced triumphantly.

Calum held out his hand with a sigh of relief. I shook my head.

"I want to drive." I stated.

"Luke, you're a terrible driver just give them to me."

"No."

Calum then dove at me trying to yank them out of my hand, but I side stepped his action. He kept reaching around my body in attempt to grab the keys with a determined look on my face. Before he could get to them I shot my hand up in the hair and stood on my tip toes.

"You suck." Calum grumbled.

I thought he was admitting defeat, but he flicked his gaze to my exposed sides. My eyes grew wide in terror and before I could react, his tan hands were attacking my ribs. Fingers mercilessly dancing across my stomach.

I shrieked and fell back onto the nearby couch. A pained giggle escaped my lips as Calum continued the torture.

"Pl-please no I can't- I can't b-breathe." I cried out. Calum took my moment of vulnerability and snatched the keys from my fingers.

"Ha! In your face Hemmings!" He screeched running to the door and pulling it open.

I pushed myself off the chair and fixed my clothes and hair. My arms folded against my chest as I shot a death stare towards Calum. I stomped through the open door and towards the car, ignoring his pleas.

"Aww Lukey I'm sorry don't be mad at me." The dark boy whined, tailing me.

"You know I don't like being tickled." I grumbled, positioning myself into the passenger seat of the car. Calum slid in behind the wheel and shoved the key into the ignition.

"No, you just don't like losing." He chuckled and pinched my cheek. I rolled my eyes at him and leaned my head against the window, watching the buildings fly past.

He's right, I don't like losing. Maybe it's because I have seemed to have lost everything. My family, my friends, an old life. Maybe starting out new and pushing through the past is a good thing. I'm just tired of people leaving, and I'm tired of losing them.

Thankfully the mall was less crowded today due to the colder temperatures. I pulled Calum into all my favorite stores and forced him to give opinions as I modeled different t shirts and tanks.
